Our Senior Year - A Joe Mazzello Fanfic (Sequel to In Need of a Friend)

Something About Kerrie...

ATTENTION: This is not the NEW chapter. That will be coming in the next couple of days. This is the chapter I had to do over again because someone deleted it after my account was hacked. However, if you never got to read this one, then it's new to you. :) 

Kerrie, Gwilym's girlfriend, was so pretty. She had these gorgeous, light green eyes and very, very black hair that fell beneath her shoulders.

We were all still looking around awkwardly after Rami made the announcement that she was Gwil's girlfriend. I felt so bad for Gwil.

"Wow, Rami. Way to go. Why ya gotta embarrass him in front of his girl like that?" Joe asked, elbowing Rami as we both sat down. Joe sat next to Rami and I sat across from Joe, which also happened to be next to where Kerrie was sitting. She smiled at me.

"Hi, I'm Valentina - Gwil's friend." I introduced myself.

"Oh, hi. It's nice to meet you." She said. She had a high pitched voice and seemed very shy.

"I'm Joe. I'm Valentina's boyfriend." Joe said as he put his hand out to shake hers. "So, are you new here?"

"Well, actually...not really. I've lived in this town since...well forever." She said, letting out a nervous laugh.

Joe and I exchanged confused looks.

"I know. Rami and I had the same reaction." Lucy confessed, giggling.

"What grade are you in?" I asked Kerrie.

"Oh, I'm just a sophomore." She replied.

Well, that makes a little more sense as to why we haven't seen her so much, but a lot of my electives the past two years have been mixed with people from all four grades. I know the same goes for everyone else at this table.

She started to laugh a little.

"What is it?" Gwil asked her, smiling.

I'd never seen Gwil smile like that. I could tell he adored her.

"Well, it's just that...I actually have Marine Biology with Valentina, Rami, and Joe..."

All of our mouths dropped.

Lucy looked over at all of us.

"You all never noticed this poor girl?!" She exclaimed. She hit rami on the shoulder with her purse.

"Ouch! Why ya gotta hit me? These two didn't recognize her either!" Rami rubbed his shoulder.

"Well, to be fair, I sit way in the back and...I'm not someone who talks a lot. I sort of have always kept to myself." Kerrie explained.

"You wanna sit with us in class?" Joe offered.

"Hey, yeah. Please come and sit with us and then I won't be alone with these two crazy guys!" I pleaded with her, jokingly. She chuckled.

"Hey! You know that my craziness is what attracts you." Joe asserted, smirking.

I Shook my head and grinned. I turned back to Kerrie.

"So, want to move seats and join us?" I asked her.

"Sure. That'd be nice." She said.

I saw Gwil touch the back of her hand and she blushed.

They were beyond cute together. She was so nice too.

It looks like Lucy and I may have just found another girl we can hang out with!
