Chapter 10

I shoved clothes into my bag, my mind was racing with questions "who was this lady? And how did she persuade him so easily?"  My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my door "come in" Roseanne walked in and sat down on the edge of my bed, legs crossed and a sinister smile. I zipped up my bag and glared at her slightly "I know, you probably think I'm here to ruin your life and become an evil step-mom or something, but that isn't the case. I really love your father and I want what's best for him" I scoffed at hearing this woman talk "so what was that weird ass voodoo thing you pulled, making him agree with me and let me leave. He's never been that persuasive before, it's in his job description" she chuckled and rested her wrist on her knee, her pointer finger picking at her thumbnail.

"I understand what it's like to be young and free" she looked down slightly and I rolled my eyes "I only told him to be easy on you" I sighed and thought for a moment, realizing she was right there when I mentioned the boys being hunters and her reaction was expressionless "why would you help me? What do you have to gain? You aren't my mother" her tongue swiped across her bottom lip and she let out a dark laugh "I need you to be distracted" she glanced up and I could've sworn I saw a flicker of black in her eyes

I squinted, but they were just their normal blue. My heart began to race and I nodded "what for?" "Well how else are we supposed to have sex here by ourselves?" she smiled showing teeth and I lifted my mouth to form a half smile, one that didn't mean anything "okay well, thank you for getting him to agree" I licked my upper set of teeth and lifted my bag "it's been a pleasure Roseanne, I hope you can handle him for a while" I started towards the door, but a cold hand wrapped around my wrist "those boys, what exactly do they hunt?" Her voice sent shivers down my spine and caused goosebumps to form on my arms and legs.

"Animals, they hunt filthy and wild animals" I turned to look at her, my eyes glancing down to her hand "oh so nothing to bad?" Her eyes were watching me, and it was almost as if she knew I was lying "do you know them?" She tilted her head and smirked softly "I don't think I've ever seen them before in my life" I nodded and pulled my wrist away from her. She waved as I walked out and down the steps. The boys were leaning against the large staircase "finally, it took you long enough" I glared at Dean

"My dad's girlfriend kept me" I handed my bag to him as I walked towards the door, he looked at it like it was a foreign object and sighed slinging it over his shoulder "alrighty then, let's go Sammy" Sam seemed to be looking at the staircase, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration. Almost like he was thinking about something "Sam let's go" he shook his head and walked out with us. "There's something off about that woman" I spoke up from the backseat as we drove off down the road "I can agree"

"Yeah something sexually off, did you see her?" Dean chuckled from behind the wheel and I gagged again in his presence "no Dean, I don't mean she was hot. I'm saying she's creepy, I could've sworn I saw her eyes go black and when I mentioned you both being hunters, She didn't blink an eye" Sam rubbed his chin listening to what I was saying "let's just forget about it, we're gone now" I nodded at Dean's words and leaned back against the seat. He sped up and I drifted off to sleep.
