Italics- nogitsune's whispers
Lydia
Lydia drove the car into Beacon Hills. "Can I see the Flash now?" William asked from the back seat. "Soon," she told him, getting annoyed from his repetitive question.
She parked the car at the Martin Lake House and opened his door. "We're here," she said and he happily jumped out. "I like the water," he complimented, looking at the lake that reflected the light sun that was seeping through clouds.
The two stepped on the porch and she unlocked the door. "He's inside," she whispered. As she opened the door, she let out a faint scream, touching the back of his head.
"The Flash!" William shouted, running towards him. Lydia looked at Barry who was in the red suit and he hugged the little boy. "This is William," she introduced even though it was a hallucination. "Hey kiddo," he greeted. "William, I'll be upstairs if you need anything. You can play all day with him just stay in the house, okay?" She instructed and he nodded.
Lydia pulled herself out the hallucination, watching William hug the air. She let out a sigh and went to the kitchen. She grabbed a glass cup and a wine bottle, going up the steps.
At the end of the hallway, she opened the door to the white study room and entered. When the door closed, William's exclaims silenced and she felt peace. She looked around to see they rebuilt the wall that had the machines. She set down the needle on the vinyl of the red recorder and let it play the muted tracks.
She sat down on the orange chair, pouring herself the wine and drank it. She let out an exhale, leaning her head back and stared at the wall.
The vinyl spun slowly before it began to crackle. On the ceiling, faces began to form; the pack and team. The recorder started making thumping noises and she listened carefully. It crackled before it started playing party music. The song got clear and played louder.
A smile stretched on Lydia's face and she knew what to do. She set down her glass and pulled out her phone. "What does Lydia Martin do best?" She asked herself. "Throw parties."
She leaned over and turned off the recorder so she'd concentrate on making the invites. They already knew something about history repeating so she was going to add that to the location and theme.
Lydia stood up and changed back into her mummified corpse outfit, leaving the room. There was a smirk on her face as she cat walked down the hall and down the stairs.
"Are you two done?" She asked, seeing William run around the living room. He stopped, breathless panting and she gave him a cup of water he chugged, finishing it with snacks. "Yeah," he nodded. "But can I see him again?" "Of course," she broke a smile.
"Put on your jacket," she said and he followed. "Why do you look like a mummy?" He asked bluntly. She looked down out her outfit and smiled, "It's Halloween." Lydia let out a hand he grasped and she took him out the house, back into the car.
She drove more into town and to the perfect location for the party. "Come on buddy," she said as he held her hand again. Lydia looked up at the apartment complex and smiled before entering.
The two made it inside and she pulled the door open to Derek's loft. "Is this where you live?" William asked. "No," she scoffed. She helped him down the steps and started doing work as he watched.
Lydia pushed the bed to the side and the table outside on the balcony. She looked over the ledge onto the ground before going back inside. The delivery guy knocked on the door, pushing multiple boxes with a crate and she signed it off.
