Italics- nogitsune's voice

Month Three

Lydia

After a month of growth, Lydia went into the night of the backyard and clipped the bush of Lutharia Vulpina and put it in a jar.

When she went inside, the kettle was whistling and she turned off the burner. She poured the hot water in a mug and added the lichen, stirring the water until it turned a dark green. Lydia would've injected it into her system, but she didn't want the markings on her skin so she drank it.

"See you soon, Lydia."

She felt the dark shadow that was standing behind her disappear and she felt like a normal human. If she kept drinking the tea, the nogitsune would become immune.
"Whatcha drinking?" Oliver asked. "Tea."

Thea

Thea was on the back of a motorcycle as Laurel drove it. "They're right behind you," Felicity said through the comms. Thea bent back upside down and pulled an arrow. There was an urge to miss the vehicle but she released it and the truck's hood exploded.

Laurel drove them back and they entered the lair. "We did good," Thea broke a smile. "After a while of trouble," she pointed out. Thea set down her bow and took off her hood as Diggle came in. "What took you so long?" Laurel asked. "Just needed extra fresh air," he nodded.

"Tonight," Felicity began, turning on the news, "Central City built a new rail line and it's going to be tested. The line is coming from the next city to us and back with a few passengers." "Sounds great," Thea smiled, leaning on the table.

This was her chance for some mischief that would please the nogitsune. The train would blow up with people inside and the city would run under chaos for a while.

"I'm gonna go home," she told them, hanging up her suit and leaving. Thea was living with Laurel but she didn't want her to know what she was planning.

She made it to the train station and slipped into the electrical room. Thea wasn't sure what to change, but she did some wiring damage. She opened the door and grabbed a wrench and sledgehammer.

Thea's phone buzzed and she took it out, 'come on, full moon' Kate texted. 'hold up' she typed, pressing the send button.

She made her way to the concrete pillars and looked up to see the tracks. "Let's do this," she muttered. Thea began to crank the bolts and tapped into the strength she was given and the bolt came out. Another one followed and she went to the opposite side to do the same.

"What are you doing?" Kate asked, crossing her arms. "Business," she pursed her lips, "How'd you find me?" "I sniffed you out," she explained, "and you could've asked for help." Kate picked up the sledgehammer and tightened her hands on the handle. She held it to the side and made a quick swing and the pillar shifted. Kate went to the opposite side where Thea was standing and swung at the pillar.

Thea checked the time and began to smirk. "It's time," she hummed. The two pivoted and made their way to the car. When they got in, they leaned back in the seats as if they were watching a movie and waited for the train to come by.

"I messed with the circuits," Thea told her. "You're really good at this," Kate chuckled. The train started to screech and they could see the lights sparking. The moment the train ran down the pillars they shifted, it went plummeting. Before the train could reach the bottom, it had already exploded and the fires filled the skies.

Thea drove the car out the ditch and they could hear the sirens blaring behind them. "Hmm," Thea exhaled, feeling the energy coursing through her veins. "Do we have to go to Mexico?" She asked. "No. I already have someone and I brought everything with me," Kate explained.

Kate signaled her to enter a warehouse and she did. "The gas scent is going to mask us from being sniffed out," she explained. The two entered it and Thea could hear the heavy grunting of Berserkers and a cry for help from a buff man chained to the wall. "Hi," she whispered, grazing his cheek. Kate unchained him and laid him on the steel table.

"Don't you need the moon?" Thea asked curiously, eyeing the two Berserkers in the corner. "Push the table outside," Kate snapped and the Berserker followed her order.

Thea followed them outside to see the sky was still filled with smoke. Kate held the animal skull high before placing it on the man's head. He kicked a few times with groaning before he stopped. The Berserker came out with bone armor and dressed him up.

"Three out of five," Thea pursed her lips, "We're almost done." "Can I ask," Kate started as they went inside the warehouse, "Does the nogitsune have a main goal?" There was silence as her eyes wandered the building, "No, not really." "Just be careful, you might get caught," Kate warned. "I'll get caught at the right time."

Lydia

Lydia felt good. She was free from the whispers and urges of the nogitsune.

She heard footsteps enter and she turned her head. "Hi Oliver," she said softly, walking slowly to him. He wrapped his massive arms around her waist and she pulled hers up to his neck. "Are you okay?" He asked, kissing her cheek.

She pressed her head against his chest as he buried his head into her shoulder and they swayed. Lydia hummed a small melody and she felt him exhale.

"Oliver," she whispered, lifting her head. "Now that I'm human... I don't feel the same. I'm not the girl that knows too much. I feel... helpless." "Hey," he said softly. His hand grazed her cheek and then he pulled at her chin. "It's okay." "No... no, no," she cried, "I don't know who I am anymore. I was the Banshee." Oliver cupped her face and wiped the tears that were streaming down her face. "You are Lydia Martin," he said firmly.

She took a few deep breaths from the reassurance of his voice. "Do you still love me?" she asked bluntly. Oliver sighed, "Of course I do." He pressed his lips against hers and she exhaled. Lydia kissed him back and he lifted her up and pressed her against the wall.

She let out a moan as he removed her clothes, carrying her around his waist to the room. Oliver laid her on the bed and he quickly took off his shirt. He began to kiss her stomach and his soft lips travelled to her neck.

Lydia held his head to bring him up for a kiss. She smiled, flipping him over and she sat on his lap. Oliver pulled himself up and wrapped his arms around her waist, continuing to kiss her.

Her hands held his neck and she felt something wrong. She looked behind his head as he kissed her neck and saw that her veins were pumping black. She didn't know she could take pain from a human, she thought it was only from the ones who could take it.

Lydia felt the darkness of the nogitsune fall back into her heart and she smiled. Oliver's hand trail up her back, not knowing what was going on and pull her to the bed. The sheets entangled between the two as they kissed.

"I'm back."
