I started to drive to the location. A large park. I arrived with 2 minutes to spare before midnight and started to search.

1 minute left. I thought glancing down at Zak's phone.

I ran around the park desperately calling Zak's name.

Suddenly I saw a tall figure with green eyes emerge from a nearby car.

Tears shone in my eyes as I ran toward him. "Zak!"

He looked straight at me and started to sprint toward me

We collided in a giant hug and fell to the ground.

I hugged him tight as I pressed my lips against mine, greatful tears fell down my face as we kissed. Then we both blacked out.

I awoke a few seconds later with Zak on top of me,

Beep beep beep

I shut off my alarm and Zak shut off his.

It was midnight, and I was here, with my soulmate, my best friend, and my crush.

I hugged him tighter.

"Hey Zak?" I asked

He looked me in the eyes, "Yes Darryl?" His beautiful brown eyes and goofy smile made my heart melt.

I pulled him closer kissing him again before saying, "I'm glad it was you."
