Ps. The hoodie is for you to remember me by.

My writing was sloppy and hot tears fell down onto the final note of suicide, which I laid down on the light blue hoodie resting on the counter.

I took 3 big steps back, picking the gun up from the counter.

My hands shook violently as I held the gun up to my head. I could hear Darryl pounding on the other side of the door, begging me to let him in.

I stayed silent. Everything got to my head too quickly, the pressure of everything finally breaking me.

I slowly pulled the trigger and the last thing I thought before the inevitable, was Darryl's beautiful green eyes.

Darryl POV

"Zak. Zak, please let me in. You've been in there for a while." I begged.

He had been in there for 3 hours. Not coming out after ending his stream.

We had moved in together about 2 months ago and since then Zak had seemed... Off.

He would go into the bathroom for about a half hour each night, then come out and go straight to bed.

Even before Zak had moved in, I had had a crush on him. With him so close it only grew, like a flame, using Zak as it's kindling, his amazingly cute face, his sweet muffiny voice, his big brown eyes so full of energy. And literally anything else about him.

He is so perfect. So what the muffin has he been doing in the bathroom for the past 3-

BANG

The sound of the gunshot reverberated around the house and I froze.

"Zak? Zak are you okay? Let me in!" In a sudden burst of adrenaline, I shoved my side into the door, with a small crack, the door flew open to reveal Zak, on the ground, bleeding from a bullet hole in his head.

I rushed to his side, fumbling with my phone as I struggled to dial 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"M-my friend... He- he- he-" My voice trailed off.

"He did what sir?"

"I think he shot himself." I squeaked.

"Okay. Stay calm. I am sending an ambulance to your location right now. Stay calm and unlock your front door so they can get in."

Tears were now streaming steadily down my face as I stood and rushed to the door, unlocking it before making my way back to Zak.

I picked him up and hugged him tightly.

"Don't die please don't die. DONT DIE! I NEED YOU!" I screamed, panicking.

"I love you...." My voice now barely audible.

I held him close, even when the sirens came and paramedics rushed in. They checked his pulse and tried to save him, but it was too late. He didn't make it.
