CHAPTER 14
I knock on the front door of Allison's home.
"Are you sure this is it?"
"Positive." The door opens to reveal a man. "I'll do the talking." I whisper to him before smiling. "Hi, is Allison home?"
"Klaus and-?
"Kathryn, Allison's sister." I state holding my hand out to shake. He complies with a surprised expression.
"Wow, another sibling. Listen now is not a good time."
"Yeah, we need to see her." I look over his shoulder to see the woman of the hour. "Sorry excuse me." I state pushing past the man.
"I'm sorry about her." I hear Klaus state as I walk up to Allison.
"Where the fuck were you?" I state with my hands on my hips. "We were worried about you! Thank god you're ok."
"Whats, uh... What's the matter?" Klaus questions bring her into a hug. "You guys have been wrestling in here or something?" I look to my left to see a man dead on her living room couch, not just any man.
"Oh my god." I state. "That was the man that tried to kill me."
"What?"
"Oh." Klaus states inspecting the body.
"This man and one other tried to kill me when they killed Elliott." I look over at the man who I assume is the husband Luther was talking about. "Well, Diego's gonna be happy."
"You two really disturb me sometimes." Allison states as I gave her a sarcastic smile.
"Hmm."
"Elliott's dead?" Klaus questions.
"Yep." I state clasping my hands together, "So are we burnin' or buryin'?" I question the room. Allison closes her eyes as I watch her husband look at Allison concerned.
"God, why are people so much heavier when they're dead?" Allison questions the room tying up the rope holding the corps together.
"You got a lot of practice at this?" Ray, Allison's husband, questions.
"Yeah." Klaus states from his position from the couch. "It was like sex with one of the lesser Baldwins." I give him a disturbed look from my position leaning against the wall separating the kitchen and living area. "I mean, you can feel him clattering around in there, but do you really care?"
"Oh my god." I mutter under my breath.
"Why? What was it like driving this hot business?" Right. he must be talking to Ben. "Oh yeah."
