Chapter 12- Your wedding

Becca's POV.

I wake up to the sound of the front door closing.

I look at the clock and see it's still five so I go back to sleep.

I wake up again to the sound of birds chirping and the sunshine shining into my room. Kidding.

No. I woke up to the sound of a chainsaw. And it was so loud. I groan and wake up. I brush my teeth and hop into the shower and then come out.

I want to go outside today so I wear a black crop top which says 'BFF sister's' and BFF is ruled out. I wear pale blue jeans along with pink colored sneakers which have two cute cats on them.

And let me tell you guys I love cats and by love I mean I'll die for them.

I love all animals except for dogs. Puppies are fine but dogs, their wet noses and wet tongue, eww gross.

And when they are wet, they smell worse than their own shit.

I walk down into the kitchen and see Raven sitting on the breakfast stool still in her PJs drinking coffee.

"Whoa, someone had a rough night," I tell and she looks up at me.

"I have a lot to tell, get a coffee Bec."

I walk towards the counter I add the coffee and add milk with two sugars. Just how I like it.

I take a sneakers bar from the cabinet and go sit down next to her.

I was about to tear open the sneakers when Raven snatches it away.

"No eating chocolate on empty stomach," she tells.

I pout but start sipping my coffee.

"Ok spill, Birdy. Where were you last night?"

She sighs and looks down and whisper's " I slept with Kade."

"You mean Aiden's friend Kade?"

"There's no other Kade that I know about."

I squeak and scream " Oh my God I knew it! I fucking knew it! You both look so cute together. I ship you both."

"Bec, it was only a one-time thing. It's not going to happen again and your 'ship' is going to sink."

"Nope. Because of the greenhouse effect, there are no icebergs this time."

"Bec, we just had a one night stand."

But I ignore her comment and start asking her.

"Are there going to be kittens in your wedding? What flowers will you use for decoration? Which church will you marry in? How many children will you guys have? Can I be your maid of honor and what color will your wedding dress b---"

"Rebecca Bennet Emberlie, if you don't stop now I'll burn your boot collection." She says.

I gasp and say. "How can you even think of it? You know I love boots more than I love you."

"So I saw you and Aiden kissing on the dance floor. Come on spill." She says changing the topic.

"Come on Birdy it was just one freaking kiss."

"Hmm, I think that's how Romeo and Juliet -- wait wait, bad example they die, that's how every rom-com ever starts, just one kiss."

So I tell her the whole story.

"What he was freaking kissing Tiana, the redhead bitch."

"The one and only."

"Aww." She comes around the table and hugs me. This is why we've been friends for so long. She always knows what to do.

"Anyway enough talk about our love lives. I'm going for a walk along the lake, I would normally ask you to come but looking at your outfit I think you need a shower more than a walk."

She scoffs and I walk out of the house laughing.

Newberry has a beautiful lake. (The real town does not have a lake but it helps the plot so I'm adding a lake.)

I walk along the shore for a while. I come across a small patch of dense trees and it almost had a forest feel to it.

I walk into the forest but remain mostly towards the shore to be careful.

I walk further and see a beautiful cliff.

I walk up there and see someone sitting on the edge.

I walk closer and the rocks crunch below my feet.

The person looks back and well, it was not the person I expected to see.
