Chapter 26- Pierns

Becca's POV.

I and Aiden talked the whole day about everything. He even apologized for doubting me and even for putting my life in danger.

When we talked about the baby I cried a lot but what surprised me most is that even Aiden cried.

The last time I saw him cry was on the cliff where he talked about Madeline.

He hasn't left my side in the hospital even for a minute. Now we both were sitting in his car going to my house. Aiden asked me to stay with him but Raven declined him. Looks like she was still angry with him.

Aiden also told me about Noah's confession.

Aiden stops the car in front of our house. I get down and see Raven coming out of the door and walking towards me.

She engulfs me in a hug and I hug her back. She then glares at Aiden. She looks inside the passenger window and says to Aiden,

"This is the last time she'll be going in your car, Mister."

"Raven," I exclaimed.

"What?" She says glaring at me now.

I just shake my head and walk inside the house after saying goodbye to Aiden.

Raven and I sit on the couch and watch season two of Gossip Girl.

Suddenly a thought comes to my mind.

"Birdy you didn't tell my parents about my accident right?"

She looks at me and hesitates a little but then she says.

"Bec I called your parents but a police officer picked up the phone and told me that your parents were kidnapped.
There was a loud sound in your house so the neighbors called the police. When the police came they found the whole place thrashed. Sorry, Bec I didn't tell you this before because you were already under a lot of stress."

At this position, I was crying. I held my face in my head and cried. Raven's hands encircled my shoulders and she held me in a hug.

"Who would do that?"

"The police are going to find them Becca . Don't worry."

I just nod because my whole body feels numb right now. This is too much to take in.

"Well, the accident was not Aiden's fault though."

I lift my head and look at her confused.

"What do you mean?"

"The police told me that the person's car hit yours intentionally. It was all planned."

"Oh god. Why me?" And I start crying again.

"Hey calm down. I'm here for you. You know to remove your mind from all this? We are going to go to Winter Formal on Saturday (it's Wednesday today.) "

"No Birdy I don't think I can. I'm a mess."

"It's ok to be a mess sometimes Becca. Now go and rest well be going dress shopping tomorrow."

I just nod and walk up to my room. I fall into my bed and start crying again.

Well, maybe this party will take my mind off things. I hope so.

I was doing my makeup when Raven comes into my room.

It's Saturday and I was getting ready for the Winter Formal party.

Even though Winter Formal is in December our school was hosting it in November because we have some kind of exam in December before Christmas.

"You are still doing your makeup. You still have to do your hair and put on the dress." Raven whines.
