Becca's POV

I place my toothbrush inside the travel bag. I was discharged today so I'll be going home but not to the house Raven and I were staying in.

My dad had a house here in town where he and Nick were staying at.

Wow, I have a father as well as a younger brother. Liam and I were not that close. Now I know why. Because we were never true siblings.

Wait if Nick is three years younger than me he must be still in high school. Damn, he looked so much older than that. The school and college in Redwood were joint. I think that's how I met him.

I sigh zipping the bag. I cried one whole day after my father told me everything. After that Raven brought me my favorite ice cream and then we both watched a few old Rom-Com movies.

Raven really knows how to cheer me up. My aunt told me everything from her perspective and told me that she had been there to visit my mother. She saw me drowning so she saved me. She saw that mom was already dead.

She took me away and hid me so that those people couldn't find me. And I completely understand why she did that.

Everything that has happened these last couple of weeks has been too much to bear. Like you take a full bucket of ice and dump it on a clueless person at one go. It felt like that. All my life had been a lie. It was just a lot to take in.

And on top of all this Aiden has been ignoring me since I woke up in the hospital. He hasn't uttered one word to me. He didn't even ask if I was ok.

The cast on my hand was removed but the bandage was still on.

Apparently, after shooting me Tiana and Jonathan had escaped along with Cole. Caleb was shot dead by Aiden.

The door to the hospital room opened and Raven walked in. She engulfed me in a hug which I gladly returned.

"The car is here, you're father is waiting come on let's go, are you all packed?"

I nod my head and both of us walk to the elevator. We then get into the black SUV standing in front of the hospital.

My dad was sitting in the front set. A bald guy with glasses was driving. Raven and I were sitting in the back. After driving for a while we stop at a helicopter pad.

We get out and I look at my dad confused. Why are we here? What do we need a helicopter for?

My dad holds my hand and looks into my eyes. "You wanted to visit your mother's grave. She's buried in LA so this is the easiest and the fastest way to get there."

I just nod and he leads me into the helicopter. Raven and the bald guy also accompany us.

The whole ride was silent except for Raven pointing at a few places from the window. She's the only person who's keeping me sane right now.

The helicopter lands on top of some building. After that, we take a short drive to the grave.

My dad again holds my hand after we get out of the car. He leads us to the middle part of the grave. There was a big stone block which was beautifully carved. There was a stone vase on it too.

By looking at that you could tell someone important was buried there. The bald man gave my dad a bouquet of peonies. From what I remember they were my mom's favorite.
