Chapter 38 - Beautiful Young Lady.

Becca's POV.

It's been two hours into the party. Two fucking hours. 

Two hours of constant chatting with people. I don't even remember their names for the love of God. I had drunk 8 glasses of cranberry juice. I wanted to drink champagne but my dad didn't want me to get drunk.

I have eaten every single dish at this party. The freshman party was better than this.

I was talking to some Dutch guy and his wife right now. I didn't understand one thing they were telling but just nodded once in awhile.

Both of them said goodbye and went off to socialize. I sighed and was about to pick up a mini blueberry pie when a waiter came up to me and said "Are you Ms.Garcia?"

"Yes," I say puzzled.

"Mr.Garcia instructed me to lead you to his private room." He says looking at me creepily.

"Ok?" I mumbled confusedly. Why would dad call me to a private room? Why does he have a private room here in the town hall?

The waiter led me to the stairs and led me to some room down the hallway of the second floor. He then turned back and walked away.

I turned the door nob and entered the room.

Everyone was there. My dad, Aiden, Nick, Aura, Raven, Kade, Marcus, and Sean.

Everyone was sitting on the couch. Seeing me my dad stood up and came up to me. He took my hand and lead me to the couch.

"Dad, what's going on?" I asked puzzled.

He looked at me and then sighed. He then turned towards everyone.

"Jonathan is back in Newberry." He started and the whole room became deadly silent.

Chills ran up my spine and my body stiffened. Aiden was sitting next to me. He wrapped his hands around my waist to comfort me. I knew he was angry by the tick in his jaw.

"He's like a tiger on loose. He definitely wants revenge so he'll do anything he can to hurt us. All of us are in danger. So I decided it would be safe if we all stay at my house. The security is already tight. I'll increase if even more. We'll be safe."

Everyone agreed and we all went down and got into the car and went home. All the while I didn't utter a word.

Aiden took my hand in his and kissed my knuckles.

"Everything is going to be all right Cupcake. I won't let anyone hurt you." He says soothingly. I smile and kiss him. I'm so happy to have him by my side.

To love me and support me. I'm the one lucky bitch, aren't I?

We all got down from our respective cars and walked inside the house.

The whole house was dark there was no light on. There was not even one person visible. That was really odd.

My dad took out a gun from his blazer pocket and so did Nick and Aiden.
My dad and Nick stood in front of us with their gun but their side which Aiden stood in the back.

We all walked into the living room.

When we entered the living room we saw two people sitting on the couch. One of them was a girl and the other was a guy.

I immediately recognized the girl by the way the moonlight was shining off her blood-red hair.

Tiana Fucking Nelson.

Both of them stood up and the lights turned on. Ha, what a great entry.

They both turned around and I saw who the guy was and my blood ran cold and my body started to shake slightly.

Jonathan was standing in front of us with a gun in his hand.

"Well, all of you are here that's wonderful," Jonathan said smirking.

My dad, Nick, and Aiden raised the gun in his direction.

"How did you get in here?" My dad scoffed.

"I have my ways. Now let's get this over with shall we?" He says and lifts his gun in my direction.

"Jonathan if you pull the trigger I'm going to chop you into tiny pieces and feed you to my cat," Aiden says seriously in a cold tone.

His father just laughs and loads his gun.

"Stop." Says a feminine voice. Aura walks and stands in front of me.

"Aurelia what are you doing get out of my way," Jonathan yelled. I stand there dumbstruck. Aura is going to get shot if she doesn't move.

She's doing this to save me.

"Don't do this Jonathan. You're not like this. You're not the monster you're trying to be. Please don't. Leave her." Aura begs.

"Aura move or I'll have to kill you too." Jonathan hisses to which Aura just shakes her head.

"Then have it your way." He says and pulls the trigger.

"Noooo.."

"Momm...."

"Aura....."

Aura's body falls to the ground in front of me with a thud. Then I hear three gunshots but I don't look up I just look into Aura's eyes which we're now teared up.

I fall to my knees and hold her hand in mine while tears freely flow from my eyes.

Soon I'm joined by Aiden by my side. He wraps his hand around mine. He was also crying. Aurelia lifts her other hand and touches Aiden's cheek with it.

"I love you Aiden. You were the best thing in my life, love. Thank you for being such a great son. Take care of Becca. She's one of a kind. Don't you ever dare lose her." Then she places her hand on my cheek.

"Becca thank you for being in my son's life. You've changed him for the better. He's really lucky to have you. I know he can be an asshole sometimes but please bear with him. Don't ever leave him. He needs you a lot. You were like a daughter I never had. I have to leave now. I'll tell your mother about you. That you've become a beautiful young lady. Take care of my son."

And with that, her body went limp and her eyes lost its life. I placed my hands on her eyes and closed it.

Hello people.

I'm crying. This was one of the most difficult chapters to write.

I loved Aura. She was such a great person. I'm going to miss her.

One more chapter left before the epilogue. I'm going to be finishing this book with a total of 40 chapters including the epilogue.
