"Excuse me..."

I turned my head around to see who it was and got startled when i recognized the person,it was the girl with the bangs

"Huh!? A..Are you talking to me..?" I asked her as i was unsure whether she's actually talking to me because all this time i literally forced her to talk to me and i'm pretty sure she was absolutely not fond of it

She gave me this annoyed and judgy look,just like the ones she gave me when i kind of forced her for answers regarding Sana-ssi.Then she suddenly let out a sigh and looked at me

"Can we talk?" She asked,well she didn't technically "ask" cause she looked really demanding at the moment

"Regarding what?" I asked as i slid my hands into my pockets and raised my brow

"Sana"

Suddenly a bolt of pain went through my heart from the mention of her name.The images of last nights events displayed on my mind and i quickly shoved them away as it was weirdly too painful to watch.I don't even know why it pains soo much.I mean obviously it can't be love right...? I mean ofcourse it's not...i don't even know that woman well to fall for her.....right?

I cleared my throat and tried to play it cool

"What about her?" I asked while digging holes in the ground with my shoe

"Let's talk somewhere else" She told me and started to walk away.She stopped a couple of feet away and waited for me to come.I signalled her asking for a minute and i quickly went around and got Bangchan out of the car and dropped him inside the police station

"Let's go" I said and we both went to the small park located a few yards away

"Okay,what about Sana?" I asked her as we were both sitting on a small bench in the park

"What's your relationship with her?" She suddenly shot me an unexpected question.My eyes widened from her question and right then i fell into a deep thought

Friends?
Neighbors?
Lovers?
What are we....?

I sighed as i could not think of an answer for the question where there was no answer at all in the first place

"I dont know...i just know her" I said while fidgeting with my fingers

Wait who is she to ask me this!? Why am i talking to a stranger!?

"What's YOUR relationship with Sana by the way!?" I asked her with my eyebrows furrowed

"I'm her bestfriend"

Oh damn

"Oh" I felt dumbfounded and went back to fidgeting with my fingers again

"Do you like her?"

Now this made me choke on my own saliva

"W..What!?" I asked her in disbelief as i shot my eyes at her

She suddenly let out a sigh and said
"I saw you at her house yesterday"

Again a bolt of pain went through my heart as i recalled what happened

"I was on my way to Sana's house last night and i stopped outside when i saw you there.I saw and heard everything...." She said

"Oh" Was the only thing i could say

I wanted to ask her soo badly why Sana behaved like that last night but i did not have the courage to do so since i was afraid of the answer....i mean what if she truly doesn't like me and that's why she behaved like that...? *sigh*

"Sana.....didn't mean anything she said to you" She suddenly said making me turn to her as i was confused

"What do you mean..?" I asked her as i was confused by what she said

"She.......didn't mean anything.She asked you to get away from her right? To not to come at her house again right...? From what i know,all she did was asking for you to....stay" She said and looked at me

Huh!? Am i dumb or am i incredibly stupid right now as I DO NOT GET WHAT SHE'S SAYING

"When Sana's going through a tough time she always pushes people away...well not people,only me because she has no one else other than me.She only tries to seek help or lean on me when it becomes unbearable....until then she would just push me away BUT from my experience i know that it means she wants me with her,i know that she's just asking for help...."

I listened to her and tried to comprehend as much as i can and all i could get was that Sana's having a tough time...? Is this what she's saying?

"Soo...Sana's going through something? Is that what you are saying..?" I asked her leaned in towards her as i was eager for an answer.
