Yang POV
After we got on the train we went up to the top and opened the hatch on the caboose to see what exactly was inside. "Alright children. We must get to the front and stop this train." "Uh, Professor?" Weiss called out to Ooblack who had just been speaking. "Doctor." Not bothering to reply Weiss continued with what she was going to ask. "What's that?" She said pointing at something with a black LED panel and multiple wires poking out. "That my dear." Oobleck said as he knelt down to inspect it. "Appears to be a bomb." He stated causing all of us to take a step back. "We've got baddies." Ruby said point further up the train where the white fang had started to congregate to get us off this train. "Well I didn't expect them to go." Oobleck said before we heard a beeping below us and looked down to see the previously black LED now flashing red. "Easy on us." Oobleck finished his statement. "Time to go. Blake detach the caboose, it will kill us all!" She nodded and jumped down in between the cars. Before she had a chance to swing her blade to break the coupling the car decoupled itself which Blake then called out to the rest of us. "What?" Oobleck said looking down at her. "I guess he really doesn't want us on this train." Seeing the scale of the explosion that the caboose caused Oobleck stated again. "That's not good." "Uh neither is this." Ruby called out to us. "Another bomb?" Blake asked as she pulled herself up to the top of the car again. Oobleck then thought for a moment before running up to the next car. "No, no, no." He opened the hatch, looked into it and called back to us. "They all have bombs!" The one under us started to go off as the car was detached so we ran ahead and managed to jump on to the next car. "This doesn't make sense." I said, sighing. If Frey were here he might have an idea for what was going on. We looked back up the train and saw the white fang in combat distance now and we rushed forward to meet them. Each of us talking down our own section of baddies. After another car exploded and blasted a hole in the tunnel Oobleck finally seemed to understand something about Roman's plan. He turned to us and shouted out. "He's leading grimm to the city." "What?" Weiss shouted back "It's the cars. They detach and explode, creating openings for the grimm. "That's insane." Blake called back to him as yet another car was detached. "We have to hurry." He ran towards us giving out orders. "You three." He pointed at me, Weiss and Blake. "Go below and try and stop those bombs." What about us?" Ruby asked. "Were going to stop this train." Oobleck repeated what Ruby had said a while ago and she called him out for it.
As we dropped into the cars I spoke while Weiss took out a thing of dust and handed it to blake. "I guess this is what we trained for." "Here this should help you." Blake nodded to Weiss and loaded it into her gun as we ran into the next car. Where we hit a roadblock. That Neo woman Frey had told us about. She smiled at us and I spoke to the other two. "You two go on ahead. This one's mine." While Neo got ready to fight the running Blake and Weiss I fired ember celica at her forcing her to dodge back and allowing them to get past. I walked up to her and we stood face to face for a moment before I spoke. "You know, Frey told me a lot about you." Her smile instantly dropped and she narrowed her eyes. She activated her semblance forcing me to stumble back a moment. I took a moment to look at her as she opened her umbrella before charging at her swinging. Every attack that I threw missed until I got annoyed and threw a few kicks that she blocked and then proceeded to kick me into the ground. She tried to land a kick on me while I was on the ground but I dodged out of the way and sprung forward punching at her again but she caught my arm and kicked me in the face before spinning and kicking me in the gut sending me flying to the floor again. When I got up I tried to use the shotgun of my weapon to displace her umbrella allowing me a good strike but that didn't work so I tried to disrupt her footing forcing her to cartwheel backwards and land sitting down legs crossed on a crate of dust. She was by far the most skilled opponent I had fought up to this point excluding Frey. Her style of combat was similar as well. Dodge and counter using your opponent's moves against them. I needed to calm down if I wanted to beat her but that annoying smirk that she had started this fight with had returned. I walked up to her and swung my fist but she deflected it again with her umbrella she then kicked at me which I leaned back to dodge. She did a handstand swinging her weapon at me again and I dodged backwards. Yet another barrage of kicks forced me to jump back again and I fired an explosive round at her which she blocked. While she wasn't looking I swung my fist at her again but was again blocked by that damned umbrella. After another clash of blows I managed to catch her foot when she went in for a kick and threw her expecting to hear the satisfying thud of her hitting the floor but was disappointed and annoyed as she gracefully landed on her feet. Running at me again she spun her small frame around me catching my arm, she managed to throw me to the roof of the train as my head hit the ceiling first I felt my consciousness fade as I fell to the ground.
