His Baby Girl {Waterloo Road}

Grace sat in her flat and groaned as she was lying on the sofa. She wasn't feeling herself. She knew it wasn't the pregnancy.

Something just didn't feel right. And she didn't know what it was. And she was scared. Grace was glad that Lily was with Simon and Charley. She wasn't her best to look after Lily.

Grace looked to her phone and sighed as she saw it was Max who was calling her. Grace was still so angry at him. He had slept with Sue to spite her. She knew it was spite. All because he couldn't get his way and she hated him for it.

Grace heard a knock at the door to her flat. She answered it and saw Max. She went to slam the door as he stopped her. "Grace. You can't keep doing this. We need to talk," Max said.

Grace rolled her eyes and looked at him. "Talk to you? Why don't you go back to sad Sue?" Grace spat.

Max sighed. "I'm sorry. It meant nothing. I was a jerk," Max said.

Grace sighed and looked at him. "Yeah you were. And the fact it didn't mean anything, just hurt more. Just go Max," Grace said as she gasped in pain.

Max looked to her and frowned. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine," Grace said as she bit her lip to stop herself from crying in pain.

"No. You're not. Come on. I'm taking you to the hospital," Max said as he held her up.

Grace looked at him and sighed. "I can go myself," Grace said as she tried to walk away from Max.

"Stop being so stubborn. It's my baby too. I'm taking you," Max said.

Grace looked at him for a moment. She sighed and nodded. "Fine," Grace said as she grabbed her phone and keys off of the side.

Grace sat in the hospital room as Max sat next to her side. She knew that she didn't want him there with her. But he was the father as much as she didn't want him around. "We need to talk about what happened," Max said.

Grace rolled her eyes. "Maybe I'm done talking to you about," Grace said as Max sighed.

Grace looked up as the nurse walked in. She began to do a scan. She and Max said nothing as the nurse looked to the screen and then to Grace. "I'm so sorry. There's no heartbeat," she said.

Grace shook her head and looked at the nurse. "No," she said. The tears poured down her cheeks.

She had lost the baby. She couldn't believe it. Grace hadn't planned the baby but she was so happy to have another baby. And now it was gone.

Max pulled her close and hugged her as she sobbed. All that Grace felt was anger. She blamed him for the stress. As far as she was concerned, it was Max's fault that she had lost the baby.

Grace got to Charley and Simon's as she went to pick up Lily. She smiled as she saw Lily who was sitting with Scarlett. Grace held her close as she started to cry.

Charley looked at her. She felt bad for her. Simon walked in. I'm so sorry Grace," he said.

Grace looked to him and smiled. "Yeah. We both are. You didn't deserve to go through that. If there is anything we can do to help, let us know," Charley said.

"Thanks," Charley mumbled as she held Lily close to her.

Grace felt empty. All she had was Lily and this hatred for Max Tyler. But how far would she go to make Max Tyler to pay for causing her to lose their baby?
