Grace stood in the car park with Max. She was waiting for Simon to arrive with Lily. It had been the first weekend that Simon and Charley had Lily overnight. Grace wanted Charley to be close to her father and her little sister even if the whole situation was complicated.

Max looked at Grace and smiled. "It's going to be okay. I know you're worried. But Charley is there and she would have said if anything happened. I have been thinking..." Max said as he was cut off.

Simon pulled up. He took Lily from the car. Grace smiled at her. "Hello my gorgeous. I've missed you," she said as she took Lily from him. "Is everything okay? Where's Charley?"

"She's going to be late in. She had a meeting with her lawyer," Simon said as he got the car seat.

Grace looked at him. "Lawyer? Is everything okay?" She asked.

"It's the divorce. Hector won't sign and wants all she has. Including the money her dad left her when he died. She's fighting it. I'm worried over her," Simon admitted.

Grace frowned. She knew Simon loved Charley more than he ever did her.

Grace stood in her classroom as she saw Max. He walked over to her and smiled. "Hello beautiful," he said as he grabbed her waist and kissed her.

"How can I help you Mr Tyler?" She asked.

Max smirked and pulled her into his arms. "I wanted to see that everything went okay with Simon and Lily?" He asked. Max knew he cared a lot for Lily as if she was his own. He sat on the desk and pulled Grace between his legs.

Grace smiled and kissed him. "She had fun. I think they're finally adjusting to each other," Grace said as Max looked at her and smiled. "What's up?"

"I wanted to ask you something," Max said.

Charley walked in. Grace looked at Max. "Can we talk later?" She asked.

Max was annoyed. He felt as if he was the last thing on Grace's mind. He wanted to talk to her over something important. He walked off.

Grace looked at Charley and smiled. "I heard you had a meeting with your lawyer. Is everything okay?" She asked.

"Not really. Simon and I are talking over getting married. But we can't. He got his divorce and it's just annoying me," Charley said.

"It'll be okay. Don't worry," she said as he hugged Charley and smiled to her.

Grace sighed to herself as she stood in the staffroom. She was meant to be meeting Max so that they could go to lunch.  She felt annoyed as she was feeling like he had stood her up.

Grace looked at her phone and saw no messages off him. He was twenty minutes late.

She eventually walked into the office having enough. She opened the door and felt her heart shatter as she saw Max who was having sex with Sue on the desk. "Grace."

Grace looked at Max and glared at him. "Go to HELL Max!" She yelled. She stormed out. She was heartbroken that he would do this to her. But was there a reason behind it?
