[Overview of Gotham as it burns]

LOUIS (V.O): "What constitutes something as a crime? Is it something bad? Something we all agree shouldn't happen?"

[A family of four. A father protecting his wife and kids from the fire]

LOUIS (V.O): "What about doing things for the people we love? Would you kill for the one you love? Die for them? Is that a crime?"

[LOUIS and HARRY watching a movie in bed. LOUIS is braiding HARRY's hair]

LOUIS (V.O): "I kill for the one I love. It's the only thing that I have to remember him by. Is that so bad?"

[LOUIS drawing a bloody smile on his face before examining his messed up mascara in a broken window]

LOUIS (V.O): "Because I think at the end of the day, we can all agree that love does wild things. It's just a question of knowing when it'll push you over the edge. When it'll drive you insane."
