Jim Jones, who represented himself as the Messiah, was a Communist-minded man who built a church called the People's Temple in 1956 in the name of helping the needy people to make themselves famous. Impressed by his words, he made hundreds of people his followers. His views were different from the American government, so he decided to go the farthest place in Guyana, South America and settle with his followers.
Just a few days after reaching Guyana, his followers came to know about his reality when people were made to work for 11–11 hours. The cruelty of Jim was so that no one was allowed to sleep when Jim gave a speech on the speaker at night. On the complaint of some people, when the US government tried to expel them, Jim appealed to the people to commit suicide by calling it government brutality, many of whom obeyed and drank poison and those who were not ready forcibly He was killed by giving poison.
