The trend of committing suicide is changing in the form of epidemic, giving death every 40 seconds

According to the data available with the World Health Organization, in 2014, most of the suicides in India are due to family confusions, marriages or disputes related to married life.

Nearly eight lakhs every year. One death every 40 seconds. This death is also not ordinary, in the hands of ourselves. There is so much despair, frustration and loneliness in the whole world that the desire to stay alive has reduced so much! World Suicide Prevention Day is observed on September 10. However, the governments of many countries want to keep a cure instead of preventing these deaths.

The report of the World Health Organization is special in two aspects. One, low middle-income countries have the highest suicide rate. India is also among such countries, where the way the development process is going on, stress is causing depression. The crisis of daily life is deepening from unemployment.

The second shocking thing is that the suicide rate in war-ravaged Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq is very low. The suicide rate of one lakh people is less than five in Afghanistan, three in Iraq and less than two in Syria. The reason for this could not be understood.

However, the situation in India is very bad in this case. it is the top 20 countries in the whole world and is now at number 21. Neighboring countries are in better condition than here in India, According to WHO's 2018 report, Sri Lanka ranks 29th, Bhutan 57th, Nepal 81st, Myanmar 94th, China 69th, Bangladesh 120th and Pakistan 169th in the suicide rate.
