What is famine death?
Famine means that Every person has received a certain age on behalf of God or nature. If the person dies due to murder, self-harm, accident or disease before the above age, then he says famine death. Suicide is the biggest reason. Suicide in the scriptures is considered to be a crime. Suicide is definitely insulting God.
The person who commits suicides, immediately wanders for the phantom immediately after becoming a phantom. He has to endure many difficulties during that time. Pain and regret only becomes the context of life. Pt. Sriram Sharma 'Acharya' says that after getting a new birth, the welfare has to stay in subtle bodies.
