India's ranking in prosperous countries
According to a United Nations report, India is ranked 133 in the list of happiest countries in the world. In this case, India is also behind Pakistan, the refugee of terrorists and very poor country Nepal.
India has slipped 11 places in this list compared to last year. India was ranked 122nd last year. India lags behind all other SAARC countries except Afghanistan. Afghanistan ranks 145th in this case.
Among the eight SAARC countries, Pakistan is at the top 75 position. Nepal ranks 101st, Bhutan's 97th, Bangladesh's 115th and Sri Lanka's 116th in this list. China ranked 86 in this list. The 2018 World Happiness Report of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN) lists 156 countries, based on per capita GDP, social support, healthy life expectancy, social freedom, generosity and absence of corruption etc. was estimated.
The annual survey found that Finland is the happiest country. Finland said that the biggest reason behind this is that people connected with nature, security, childcare, good schools and free healthcare etc. are the things that make people happy in the country. On the other hand, people of America are getting richer by the day, yet they are less happy.
