(Y/N)'s pov

It was finally Friday since we wouldn't have school tomorrow, the girl's team had decided to go an arcade in celebration of making the team.

I decided that I would tag along but after my final day as the boy's volleyball manager.

It was a perfect warm spring day and I had felt good for some reason. Regardless of all the crap, Heather was putting me through I felt like today none of that mattered.

"You seem like your in a good mood"
I glanced up and saw Iwaizumi. I smiled at him.
"Well yeah! I made the girls volleyball team." I said cheerfully.

"What? Well, congrats! I didn't realize that tryouts were already over." he said in awe.

I told him about our mini celebratory party that we were having at the arcade later. I also started to explain to him how I couldn't be the manager anymore until someone had come through the doors.

It was Oikawa, and he was late.

"Ugh sorry guys, I got held up with Heather." he said in irritation.

All the guys started to chew him out for missing so much practice lately. But if only they knew how it wasn't his fault.

"Soon..." I whispered to myself.
Soon this will all be over and it will all be a bad memory.

"Omg (Y/N), I love your necklace where did you get it?"
"Yeah, it's so pretty!"

I was being bombarded by some of the volleyball team while I tried to eat my food.
I didn't mind though they were really nice, it felt nice to get along with my new teammates.

The girls stopped surrounding me and suddenly their eyes widened in awe.
"No way!" What are you guys doing here?!" said one of my teammates.

I peeked over the girls and nonetheless, I saw the boys volleyball team.
"We came to congratulate you guys!"
said Oikawa.

At first, I was confused, no one had known about this it was planned at last second.
Then I remembered my conversation earlier with Iwaizumi.

How sweet of them to surprise us like this... When in reality I know they wanted an excuse to go to the arcade.

I rolled my eyes and smiled to myself as I went back to eating my food.
Even though Oikawa was here, I couldn't do anything. Talking to him wouldn't be smart. One of Heather's lackeys might be around.

But I had jinxed myself.

"This is gonna be so much fun! Isn't babe?" said the blonde-headed witch.

I pushed my food to the side, somehow I had lost my appetite.
I looked at Oikawa, he was pouting and trying to pull his arm away from Heather's grasp.

I felt bad for him honestly. He has to put up with all that.
I decided to keep an eye on him it's the least I can do.

The arcade volleyball party was actually going super great. I was having a lot of fun.
Some people went to karaoke, some went skating, and the rest were either eating or playing video games.

I couldn't let go completely through, I went everywhere Oikawa went. I made sure I was out of Heather's sight.
Heather had gone to the bathroom and told Oikawa to sit outside of the girl's room like he was a dog.

Of course, he didn't listen. He walked somewhere and fast.
I quickly picked up my pace but by the time I turned the corner he was gone.

I frantically started to look for him. I stopped in front of a picture booth to use the chair that sat beside it.
