(Y/N) pov

Today was Tuesday, the day we finally got to play. Our venue was located at Sendai City Gymnasium. Both teams were exempt from the first round of matches and so we didn't play over the entire three-day span (one game on the first day, three on the second, one on the third).
Instead, we play from the second round and up. It's nice to be in the top four of the entire prefecture.

We were loading up busses and I couldn't help but feel hitter inside. I'm so excited to play my first official game. These feelings are so different, it's new. Especially since Heather is gone.

I hear soft pitter-patter getting louder. I glance over and see Oikawa jogging towards me.

"(Y/N)!" he said. He grabbed me and pulled me into a big bear hug. I felt his nose nuzzle the crook of my neck, he pulled away and intertwined both of my hands with his. He looked down at me with his bright puppy dog eyes and smiled.

"I'm gonna miss you so much! But I wish you the best luck and I want you to have fun today too!" he said happily."
It didn't even dawn on me until he said something, we won't be able to see each other as much because of the games, I suddenly felt sad.

Oikawa suddenly caressed my bottom lip with his thumb. I held his hand that was now on my face in surprise.
"Don't be sad, it won't help you win at all" he said softly, "I was serious about you having fun, this is an experience that I want you to enjoy"

I nodded my head in understanding, if he wants me to enjoy myself then I'll enjoy myself as much as I can. Oikawa grabbed my hand again and leaned in close. I could feel his minty breath against my lips. He kissed me on my lips, but only for a brief second.

"I love you" he whispered.

I started to smile really hard. We began to kiss again until Coach Irihata called for Oikawa.
"Go I don't want you to get into trouble" I said reassuring him.
He gave me a quick peck on the cheek and ran back towards his bus.

I sighed, maybe it's a good thing the boys and girls team are separated for everything. Oikawa is a huge distraction for me.

I want to focus on making it to the finals, and of course, I want the boys to make it too. For some reason, I can't shake Karasuno... I feel like something different might happen today.

Our first team was Shirato High School. It wasn't anywhere near as hard as Niiyama High, we totally dominated them. We took the first two sets. (25-14)••(25-07). The look they have on their faces after losing is so sad. I have a feeling of what they might feel like but not for sure.
Since we finished early the team and I had decided to go get a peek of the boys. By the time we got there, the game was almost over. They were playing against Oomisaki High and they took the first set with ease I'm assuming.

The score right now was impeccable (23-12).
"That number one has racked up fifteen points at least with his serves alone!" said someone.

Fifteen? I know from first-hand experience that his serves are strong but couldn't they at least catch one?

Oikawa was spinning the ball in his hand waiting for the okay from the referee. The whistle blew and Oikawa began to serve.
"OHHHHHHHHHEEEEYYY" yelled the entire crowd in unison.

Oikawa's serve flew through the court. The other team tried to receive it only for it to go straight out of bounds.
"Wow." I said in awe.
"Aoba Johsai, Match Point!"
He was handed the ball once more for another serve, he began to serve again until he suddenly stopped.

He looked up at the crowd and his eyes met mines. He gave me a wink.
"OHHH HE WINKED AT ME!" said a random girl.
"NO HE WINKED AT ME!" said another.
