(Y/N) pov

I walked inside my house, empty of course. My mom had gone on a business trip for extra money.
I decided to make a cup of ramen and call it quits for the night. I popped open the microwave and set the cooking time suddenly, my phone started ringing.

I walked over to the kitchen table and glanced at the caller ID before I answered it, it was Oikawa...
I felt my heart flutter when I read his name.

"Hello?"
"(Y/N), where's your mom?"
I started to answer the question until I realized that he didn't say "our mom".
"Oh, so she's not your mom anymore? Well, that's good news."  I said sarcastically
"(Y/N) I'm serious. Did she already leave?"
He sounded concerned, he was starting to make me worry.

"Yeah, last night why? Is everything ok?"
"No, Heather set something up but I don't know what. All she said was that she's going to kill you."

My heart dropped. She would try to pull off something like this, she did run me the hell over.

"I tried to call the police but they wouldn't believe me, they think I'm just looking for attention. Heather has everyone wrapped around her damn finger, she's fooling everyone."

He took a deep breath.

"Look (Y/N) if anything happens tonight I want you to know that I-I..." he trailed off.
"That you what?"
"That I um, can't be without you" he said quietly. I smiled to myself.
"Aww that's sweet" I said teasing him.
"No but seriously, if you don't call me within every thirty minutes I'm calling the police, understand?"
"Thirty minutes? What if I fall asleep?"
"Then the police knocking at your front door will wake you up"

I rolled my eyes.
"Ok fine"
"(Y/N) one more thing, be careful, please"
"I will don't worry"

I hung up the phone and put it in my pocket. I ignored the beeping microwave and went straight to the knife set and armed myself with the biggest one we had. Better to be safe than sorry.

I made sure all the doors and windows were locked, then I headed upstairs. But something had caught my eye. I noticed that the closet door was peeked open. Common sense told me to ignore it and go upstairs so I did. Or at least I tried...

🏐THIRD PERSON POV🏐

(Y/N) screamed at a dark tall figure with a ski mask on came rushing towards her. She fell over, causing her phone to fall out of her pocket but, she didn't notice. She quickly scurried up the stairs and locked her bedroom door with the dark figure trailing behind her. She successfully locked her door with the dark figure lurking on the other side. She reached for her phone, only to notice that it wasn't there. She started to panic. The dark figure was banging on her bedroom door, (Y/N) held up her knife bracing herself while she tried to think of a plan.

She had decided to hide under her bed. It wasn't the best idea but it was the quickest. Suddenly the dark figure kicked down her door.
" Let's get this over with, I'm tired of playing hide and go seek" said the dark figure in a playful voice.
He started to quietly sing a song.

"Strumming my pain with his fingers... Singing my life with his words. Killing me softly with his song, killing me softly... With his song."

Granted, he had a nice voice but that didn't matter, (Y/N) was on death's doorstep.
She had one hand over her mouth, while the other held the knife.
He suddenly stopped moving, he then abruptly flipped over her bed leaving (Y/N) shocked and vulnerable.
The dark figure's face was uncovered. He had a lean build. His hair was a light shade of brown with a black undercut. He also had what appear to be notable bags under his eyes.
