Alessandria’s POV

NEVER HAVE I thought I’d ever attend a Junior-Senior Promenade in Veles High. Eversince I entered junior high in Veles International School, I have envisioned attending the prom in a prestigious hotel, not in a school auditorium.

Despite it being held in our school and not in a hotel, I wasn’t really disappointed. Maybe Arabella was right, I slowly became fond of Veles High without my knowing.

What matters is I’m attending it with the people I care about…Arabella…Erald…the Archimedes.

Being the rebel that I am, I didn’t attend class on the morning of prom. Jessica told me I need to sleep half the day so I’ll be fresh when it’s time for my hair and make-up.

So when I woke up at three in the afternoon, my body felt recharged and my skin seemed more healthy-looking and plumpier.

Jessica hired a team of make-up artists and hairstylists for me and since they were a lot, I actually invited Raya to get ready with me. But she said no because apparently, her Tita Mira will do her make-up.

“Alessa, dear,” Jessica greeted when she opened my door. “Take a bath then I’ll send the team to your room, alright?”

I nodded then proceeded to my bathtub. I began my milk bath and poured some essential oils such as honey and rose to make it more relaxing. I grabbed the magazine on the rack then browse through some fashion items while waiting.

When I’m done, I wrapped a bathrobe around my body then I called downstairs. My glam team was composed of two make-up artists and two hairstylists. We proceeded to my walk-in closet because I have a vanity mirror there complete with lights.

The gay make-up artist smiled at me. “Oh my, I love how tan your skin is.”

“Thanks,” I said.

“And your skin, sobrang kinis.”

“I can’t wait to fix your long shiny hair. But for now, the make-up team will do their magic on you.”

They made me sit on my chair then they began working wonders on my face. I requested a not-so dark make-up look, but an elegant one. For the duration of them fixing my face and hair, I mostly browsed on my phone. I also texted Arabella but she isn’t replying so maybe she’s just busy.

After four hours, I’m all set.

“Oh my god! You are so beautiful, Ma’am Alessa!”

“I want to make you my make-up model, beh.”

“No doubt, you’ll get crowned as the prom queen.”

I smiled and said my thanks to them before they left our mansion. Jessica was waiting outside, she refused to see me while they’re doing my face because she wanted it to be a surprise.

But before I finally stepped out of my room, I admired myself in the mirror.

I’m wearing a dark red v-neck gown with a slit on my right leg. It looked quite revealing for a highschool prom but this is what I want. For my shoes, it’s a silver t-strap with three inches heels.

The hairstylists straightened my long black hair and they put some silver beads and sequins on the ends of it. It complemented my plain silver earrings. As for the eyeshadow, it’s mostly brown and peach while they put on nude maroon on my lips. Overall, my make-up wasn’t super grand because my gown already is.

“I thought something happened, you were taking too long.”

I turned around and saw Jessica wearing a proud smile. “You look gorgeous, dear. Robert is right, you’re a spitting image of your late mother.”
