Shortly after Bucky left, Martha's driver picked the girls up to leave them in their respective homes. Clementine was furious with her friend, and Martha was aware of it but it didn't seem to bother her.

" Oh, he's really dreamy, is he not? So tall and muscular... and from a very prestigious family!" Martha said, sighing.

" Yeah, only because he's rich is that she's so fascinated with him." Clementine thought. Her friend seemed to only like every single man with a good family name and money. Clementine knew that one day she would have to marry someone from a powerful family as well, since her parents would never allow her to marry someone who didn't belong to the Upper class, something she was not very happy about.

" I am glad you're so fascinated. What I don't understand is why would you make me go with you". Clementine said to her friend.

" Oh, he was the one who suggested a double date. I couldn't exactly say no, right?" Martha said, raising her eyebrows.

" I don't even know that friend of his. You know how much I hate blind dates." Clementine said, crossing her arms.

"Why can't you be happy for me? I finally found a man worth going out with, and you won't even help me?" Martha asked.

"I just don't understand why you need me there, when you perfectly know I'd rather stay home than going out with two strangers." Said Clementine.

The car stopped in front of Clementine's house. Martha sighed and looked at her.

" Just do this for me, all right? I'll see you tonight. Wear something pretty, you wouldn't want to make a bad impression, would you?" Martha said.

"All right." Clementine said. The driver opened the door and she stepped outside.

"Do you want me to pick you up? Or are you taking your driver?" Martha asked her.

"I don't want to get there on my own, so pick me up so we can go together." Clementine said.

Martha nodded and told the driver to leave. Clementine sighed and went inside. She lived in one of the biggest and prestigious houses of Manhattan, something she didn't quite liked since the house was empty most of the time. Her mother used to travel a lot with her father, leaving Clementine and her sister, Sophie, alone with the maids and cooks.

"Mother? Father? I'm home!" She said, hoping they were home already. They were supposed to arrive to Manhattan from Boston that day.

Instead, Sophie, a 14 year old girl, came down the stairs and greeted her sister.

"They are not home yet..." Sophie said, hugging her sister. They were quite close, since they only had each other most of the time.

"Why am I not surprised?". Clementine muttered, sighing. "Anyways, how was school today?"

"It was okay, I'm just glad it's Friday though. I'm going out later with my friends. I think we will go to 5th Avenue to took at the new spring collection". Sophie said.

" Well, have fun tonight. I'm going out today as well". She said, rolling her eyes.

" With whom?" Sophie asked with curiosity.

"Martha and two gentlemen". She said.

Sophie disliked Martha very much, so she just rolled her eyes. Clementine knew that most people disliked her friend, since she was rude and thought she was better than everyone else. She didn't use to be like that when they were younger, but ever since she started nursing school a few years ago, she had completely changed.

"Oh, two gentlemen? Who are they?" Sophie asked.

"Their names are James Barnes and Steve Rogers". Clementine replied.
