Clementine could barely sleep on Friday night, since her final exam was less than 24 hours away. That Saturday morning, she
relaxed all day and went to the garden of her house just to sit there and try to calm herself down. She had lunch only with her sister, since as usual, her parents were at the office. Sophie wished her good luck, and at 2 p.m, she went to campus. She was glad she left early, since it took her an hour to get there.

She got to campus at the same time than Martha. They both saw each other as they walked to the library, where they were going to take the test. However, they didn't say hello, they just stared at each other for a few seconds and kept walking as they had never been friends. Clementine didn't seem to care, even though she hated fighting with people. She was not going to apologize to her, since she just didn't want her in her life anymore.

She pushed those thoughts aside as she took a seat in the library. There were around 50 girls there, all looking nervous and anxious, and Clementine was not an exception. She took a deep breath and by 4 p.m, the test started and lasted for two hours. However, she was ready for the test, and knew everything she needed to, so she ended up leaving earlier than expected. As soon as she was done, she smiled and gave one of the professors the answer sheet, and left the library as fast as she could.

The day was still sunny when she went outside, and she felt the warm breeze on her skin as she opened the door. She felt so free, happy and relieved in that moment that she wanted to scream.

"Good, you're done! I thought I would have to wait for you forever." Said a voice behind her.

She quickly turned around and noticed Eleanor was sitting in one of the benches mear the library, smoking a cigarette.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Clementine, surprised.

"I was bored. I've been shopping all day, and I've barely talked to anyone today, so I thought I'd wait for you to be done so we can start enjoying the summer!" She said, smirking.

Clementine chuckled and hugged her friend. "I'm finally free. I don't even know why I worried so much, the test was fair and easy."

"I'm glad it went okay! Does that mean I can spend every single day with you now?" Said Eleanor, putting her arm around Clementine's shoulders.

"Hell yes. I'm excited for tonight." Said Clementine, smiling.

"Me too, I haven't been out since I got here. It's been the most boring week of my life." Said Eleanor, disappointed.

"I thought you were going to explore the city with Thomas." Said Clementine.

"That was the plan, but then he ended up working all bloody week with my father. He has turned into such a boring person, I swear. Father almost told him not to come with us tonight, since he needed him at the office." Explained Eleanor.

"But he is coming, right?" Asked Clementine, trying not to sound so excited.

"Of course he is, he wouldn't miss the chance to see you again. He talked about you all week, I swear." Said Eleanor, rolling her eyes.

"I don't believe you, you're just messing with me." Said Clementine, looking at her friend.

"I wish I was. I told you he still has a crush on you. But I still think you deserve someone better, Thomas is an idiot." Said Eleanor, laughing. "You deserve someone like James Barnes."

Clementine raised an eyebrow. "You haven't met him yet, how do you know he's not boring?"

"You told me he's older than us, likes drinking, dancing and going out. Of course he's not boring." Said Eleanor.
