Is this jealousy Todoroki?

Chapter 3: Let's Go Shopping Part 2

Todoroki's POV

Yaoyorozu and I were talking on our way to the mall. To be honest, bottling up my weakness and my problems is really hard, that's why it's nice having someone to talk to about it without fearing of being judged. Yaoyorozu has been a good friend, a REALLY great friend. We've been close for the past few weeks since we are seatmates and we are both from well-known families hence we both understand how it feels to be pressured.

I can't help but stare into her dazzling onyx eyes that is also staring at me as I tell her about my nightmares. I can tell that she's really interested about it, but then Takenaga slipped himself in the middle of us just to get Yaoyorozu's attention.

"How rude."

I just let it slip, there's no point if make a big deal about it.

"Okay guys! Let's meet here again after 2 hours. I think that is enough time for us to shop!" Iida told us strictly with his weird signature hand signs.

"Sure!" Our classmates replied

"Todoroki-san, would you like to come with us we're heading towards the department store?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Oh, he doesn't have to..." Takenaga answered her but I quickly cut him off

"I will come with you." I said coldly. I don't want to leave Yaoyorozu alone with this guy.

"Alright then, let's go!" Said Yaoyorozu as she went ahead first, followed by Takenaga. I can really tell that something is really off about him.

Yaoyorozu's POV

We went first at the Department Store. I remembered I also needed face towels since Mineta stole mine (what a creep). I went to the towel section while I Takenaga and Todoroki followed me.

"You guys can go ahead to buy your needs." I told them.

"I'll be staying here, I also needed towels. I accidentally burned mine." Todoroki said while looking for towels.

"I'm good, I'll wait for you Momo." Takenaga smiled at me while approaching me.

I've notice Todoroki flinched as Takenaga called me by my name. I can't also deny that him calling me by my nickname is kinda awkward for me too. Only my close friends called me that. After few minutes of choosing our towels, we proceeded to the counter to pay it. I chose a very cute face towel with hedgehog prints on it. I just think it's really cute.

"Sooo... where should we go next?"

"Hmmm... we could go to the grocery to buy snacks." Takenaga said

"Okay, sounds good. How about you Todoroki?"

"I'm fine with that."

"You know what? I'm sure you have other things to buy. You can go ahead, We'll be fine on our own." Takenaga said while approaching Todoroki.

"I already said I'm fine. Is something wrong with that?" Todoroki asked with stern eyes staring at Takenaga.

"That's good! Let's go!" I said cheerfully trying to break the awkwardness. I went ahead first, but suddenly I SLIPPED. I didn't noticed the wet floor ahead, luckily I was caught Todoroki's arm.

"Are you alright?"

Todoroki's reflexes are really fast, there's no doubt about that. He caught me by his left warm arm. He stared at me with his very concern eyes as I feel myself blushing.

"Yeah I-I'm fine, T-thank you."

"Are you alright Momo?" Takenaga asked me too while pulling me from Todoroki's arm. I saw Todoroki's annoyance as Takenaga pulled me from him.

"Yeah, I can be clumsy sometimes hehe. Let's go, we only have 1 and a half hour left."

The three of us went to the nearest grocery in the mall. We split up for us so that we will be able to go back to the meeting place as soon as possible. I bought some chips and drinks and some essentials such as shampoos since I am running out of it.

I went to the counter to pay, while waiting for my turn I tried to search for them, I saw Todoroki at the exit already waiting for us. After paying for my purchases, I went straight to him. Takenaga is still out of sight.

"Hey" I greeted him

"Hey"

There's a few moments of awkward silence before he continued speaking

"Umm... Do you know Takenaga before, it seems that you two are close."

"No I didn't know him, and no we are not close."

"It didn't seem like it, he even calls you by your nickname."

"To be honest I'm not comfortable with him calling me "MOMO" but I guess I don't have a choice, I can't say no... I mean I don't want to sound rude or something."

"But... if ever he does something wrong to you, tell me."

Why would Todoroki think that? I was about to ask him when I heard someone's calling me, I turned around to look who it was, It was Takenaga

"Momo, I'm sorry I took so long."

"It's fine"

My phone vibrated in my pocket, I took it and saw Iida's group message.

Iida: Guys You have 15 minutes left. Midoriya, Uraraka and I are already here. We finished early because I think it is important to maximize our time and use it efficiently for us to...

I put my phone back again, without finishing Iida's one paragraph message about importance of time management.

"We should get going." I said then we left the grocery store.

After our class shopping, We went to a restaurant to eat and went straight back to our dorm and to our rooms to finally rest. It was a long day indeed

Todoroki's POV

Finally, I can rest. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and I went straight to my room. I grabbed the towel and dried my wet two toned hair when I noticed my phone vibrated.

Yaoyorozu: Hey, I would just like to thank you again for catching me earlier. Sorry I was clumsy.

I can imagine her voice while reading her text. I was about to reply when she messaged me again

Yaoyorozu: Btw, what do you mean by what you said earlier about Takenaga

Yaoyorozu: About him doing something wrong.

Todoroki: His actions are kinda, idk weird. Idk but i know something's not right about him.

Yaoyorozu: Maybe you're just overeacting?

Todoroki: I don't know

Yaoyorozu: Or... is this jealousy Todoroki? ;) ;)

I almost choked when I read Yaoyorozu's message. I know I am not jealous, why would she think that?

Yaoyorozu: Just kidding! hahahhaha. I should get to sleep, I don't want to be late for tomorrow. Goodnight Todoroki :))

Todoroki: Goodnight Yaoyorozu
