Is this jealousy Todoroki?

Chapter 12: Just for a minute

All our eyes stared Todoroki's phone which is now placed at the table. "Ooohh!! That might be the girl!" Uraraka cheered excitedly. I felt a pang in my heart. That's when I asked myself; "Is this jealousy Yaoyorozu?"

"I can't believe you gave your number to the waitress." Iida replied as he drank his iced tea. "I thought you ae not into that sort of stuff."

"I'm not." Todoroki answered quietly

"Then why did you-" Midoriya was about to ask Todoroki when he suddenly spoke up again.

"I did not give my number." All our eyes fell upon Todoroki once again in confusion.

"What does he mean by that, all of us clearly saw that he wrote his number and gave it to the girl." I pondered

"It was Kaminari's number." He lifted his face and faced Midoriya.

"HUH?!" Almost all of asked reacted in unison, specially Jirou who is now standing.

"Why did you give his number?" Jirou asked.

"He told me before he left with Bakugo, that if ever the waitress asked for my number again I should give him his number instead." I felt relieved upon hearing his words, there's no reason for me to worry. A small smile crept into my face as I lowered my head to hide it from my classmates.

"That jerk." Jirou mumbled. I was still smiling when suddenly I felt someone is staring at me. I lifted my head and saw Aoyama who is now staring at me with a grin in his face. What a creep!

"Oooh someone is little jelly!" Mina teased

"I'm not!" Jirou and I answered Mina

"Uh..." Mina gasped in shock "I was referring to Jirou, are you also jealous Momo?"

"N-no" I was blushing completely as everyone stared at me, including Todoroki. "I meant, Jirou's not jealous about Kaminari. R-right Jirou?" I looked at Jirou who is now also blushing.

"Yeah! Oh! Here's comes the food!" Jirou pointed at the waiter who is now approaching us with our food. Good thing their attention is now at the food.

We finished our lunch quickly, it seems that all of us we're really extra hungry today. I grabbed my wallet to prepare my payment, when suddenly Takenaga tapped my shoulder.

"It's on me." he whispered to me.

"Huh? There's no need I can pay-"

"I insist, let me do this to show my apologies with what happened last night."

"Fine." I said as he smiled grabbing money from his wallet.

Todoroki's POV

I was sitting across Takenaga and Yaoyorozu, as I saw Takenaga paid for both of their food. "Why is he paying for him?" I thought to myself. I mean, Yaoyorozu's hella rich she doesn't need him to pay for her. "Or maybe he's courting her? or maybe they are already dating?" Those thoughts kept bugging me and it made me feel uneasy.

We left the restaurant, the waitress was waving at me as she said goodbye which was kinda annoying. We walked towards the bus with still 35 minutes to spare. I was walking beside Shoji and Jirou. It was a quiet walk, Jirou was wearing her earphones when suddenly she stopped. Shoji and I also stopped wondering what happened?

"Yao-momo!" She shouted at Yaoyorozu who was walking beside Tsuyu and Takenaga. It looked like she was too busy to hear Jirou, since she's was talking to Takenaga and Tsuyu while she smiled widely.

"She's too occupied." I scoffed

"Too bad, I remembered she wanted to buy something from that Rattan Stall yesterday." Jirou pointed at a small stall with an old woman standing by. "Too bad she wasn't able to buy anything since there was an explosion."
