Is this jealousy Todoroki?

Chapter 14: I Hate him

Yaoyorozu's POV

Dark Shadow was uncontrollably strong and fast. That before Todoroki could lit his fire to tame the dark monster, it already moved his way towards me.

All I could do was to create a metal shield to protect me and covered my self with it. I closed my eyes as I mentally prepared myself with the attack of this humongous Dark Shadow. I waited for it's attack but I didn't came. I opened my eyes to see a large piece of ice from Todoroki that blocked Dark Shadow's attacked. 

Todoroki lit his fire from his left side as he went closer to Dark Shadow. I watched him tame the black monster, but it was noticeable that Todoroki was struggling to tame it since it grew a lot bigger than before. It was hard for him to create a large fire without harming us specially Tokoyami. I was staring at him, wanting to help him but suddenly I felt that I was being dragged away.

"Let's go Momo!" Takenaga lifted me as we flew away from Todoroki and Dark shadow. I glanced at him once again.

"B-but Todoroki needs our help." I said at him. I don't want him to be left alone in that situation.

"Believe me Momo, it'll be more difficult for Todoroki if we stayed there. Let's just get us back to the bus." Takenaga told me firmly

That's when I grabbed my phone from my bag to contact Mr. Aizawa about the situation. This felt so wrong, I really wanted to do more but this is all I could do right now. 

*Time skip*

Mr. Aizawa managed to reach Todoroki and Tokoyami they were able to tame Dark Shadow in no time with sensei's quirk. 

I was already at the bus with some of my classmates. I sat at my seat as I stared at the window beside me. My mind can't think straight, this is just too much. 

I am worried sick about Todoroki and Tokoyami, what if they got hurt before Mr. Aizawa could reach them. Guilt started to fill me. "This is all my fault".  I was too deep in my thoughts that I haven't noticed that Takenaga's already at my side.

"Hey..." He said softly but this still made me jump.

"Oh, Hey." I said as I looked down.

"Are you worried?"

"Yeah, how could I not? This is all my fault-" 

"Hey hey, this is not your fault. If someone should be blamed for this, it should be Todoroki." Takenaga told me, I lifted my face to look at him as he blamed Todoroki. This could not be Todoroki's fault.

"-If only he focused on  taming Dark Shadow instead of minding our business, then everything's should have been fine." he hissed

I looked back at the window as I tried to ponder what he had said.

"There's nothing to worry about Momo. Everything's gonna be  alright." I looked back at him as he smiled at me.

Todoroki's POV

Mr. Aizawa helped me to tame Dark Shadow by erasing his Tokoyami's quirk. We went back straightly to the bus to rest. I also had some scrapes and bruises from Dark Shadow. As I entered the bus, I saw Takenaga at Jirou's seat next to Yaoyorozu.

They were happily talking to each other maybe about their date.

I don't have the energy to eavesdrop at them, I just walked towards my seat next to Takenaga.

"Todoroki." I heard Mr. Aizawa called my name. "Here's the first aid kit for your wounds, I have to go back to the cave, apparently Mineta's missing."

Mr. Aizawa handed me the first aid kit as he went off. (Poor Aizawa)

Yaoyorozu's POV

I saw Mr. Aizawa handed Todoroki a first aid kit. Todoroki stood up to reach it and I saw that he had some wounds in his arms.

Takenaga was still talking to me about our date tomorrow, but my focus was on Todoroki. He sat on his seat as he opened the first aid kit. I looked at him as he poured hydrogen peroxide on a piece of wash cloth and he vigorously wiped his wounds on his left arm. I saw him wince as the wash cloth made contact with his wounds.

I absent mindedly stood up as I saw him struggling with his injuries, I approached him as I pulled the wash cloth from him. This made both Takenaga and Todoroki shocked.

"What are you-" Todoroki looked up at me

"Let me do it." I told him

I sat at Aoyama's seat and held his left hand. This made him jump a little but I didn't mind it. I gently cleaned his wounds. He winced once again but I continued to cleanse his wounds. I finished cleaning his left hand and continued with his right.

I applied an ointment using a cotton swab and covered his wounds with band aids.

"Thank you Yaoyorozu."

"It's nothing" I told him awkwardly, I looked up at him and noticed that he still had a wound in his neck. Nothing seious tho, it's just a small scrape. "Wait a second." He looked at me as he raised his brow.

I quickly took another wash cloth and poured adequate amount of hydrogen peroxide. I applied it on his neck. His eyes got wider upon the contact. 

"I'm sorry" I told him

"No, no it's fine."

I continued to cleanse his wound. I didn't noticed that I was already too close to him. I applied the ointment using a cotton swab on his neck. He winced once again but I managed to finish it quickly. 

It was then I noticed that applied too much ointment on his neck. I blowed it gently, just enough for it to dry. That moment was really awkward, being this close to him made me blush.

I let my breath touched his neck, that's when I noticed that he was also blushing as he looked away from me.

I can't explain this feeling, but this felt good. Being with him just feels so right.

*Kringggg... Kriiingggg*

It was Todoroki's phone, It seems Uraraka have returned it to him back at the cave. But right now, someone's calling him. "That might be his father, he must be worried about Todoroki."

I watched him picked up his phone. His eyes widened when he saw his phone. 

"Akari..." He greeted

(AN: Presenting Akari Tendo, This is actually Ruka from Rent a Girlfriend. This is jus how I pictured Akari to look like.)

"Akari... wait what? Akari?!! Isn't that the one who texted Todoroki earlier?"

"Excuse me, I have to take this call." Todoroki walked passed by me as he exited the bus.

This remined me about that Akari and his stupid little date with her. Then all my anger came back at me. The thought of him playing with my feelings, making me fall for him like some sort of a game... or maybe his making me his side chick. What a jerk!

I dropped the first aid kit at his seat and quickly went back to my chair. I watched him through the window beside me. I hate him.
