Is this jealousy Todoroki?

Chapter 16: He's not mine

Yaoyorozu's POV

It was another day. I woke up around 11, it was kinda late but it's fine since we do not have our classes. I was too lazy to fix my hair into my signature ponytail that's why I put it into a messy bun for the meantime. I walked towards the kitchen to find something to eat. I was starving as hell, I can't remember If I had my dinner last night 'cause I was too tired. 

I saw of Iida and Jirou preparing some food.

"Morning Yaomomo." Jirou greeted as she cracked eggs into a bowl.

"Good morning Yaoyorozu! I hope you had a good sleep." Iida greeted as he heated the pan.

"Good morning." I answered back as I walked towards the fridge. I grabbed the carton of milk and poured myself some. 

"Momo! You're finally awake." Takenaga greeted as he walked towards us. "So, about later. Is 5' o' clock good to you?"

"Yeah, 5 o' clock is fine." I smiled at him

"Good, I'll see you around." Takenaga waved while he walked back to the elevator.

I turned around to put the milk back to the fridge when I noticed Jirou's staring at me with a her right brow raising up.

"What?" I asked her

"What was that?" Jirou arched her brow

I rolled my eyes. Jirou's an overprotective friend, it's kinda sweet of her but sometimes it gets really irritating.

"I forgot to inform you, I have change of plans. I'm going to see a movie with Takenaga." I smiled at her knowing she'll get irritated by it.

"No you didn't." Jirou and Iida answered me which confused me. It was normal for Jirou to respond like that, but I wasn't expecting Iida-san to be against it.

Jirou and I were confused at Iida's reaction while Iida closed his eyes and sighed.

"Does Todoroki know this?" He pushed his glasses up in his nose bridge.

I nodded

"Look, since before the field trip has started Todoroki kept telling us that Takenaga's actions are quite..." Iida looked around us before whispering "questionable."

I shook my head. I could not believe Todoroki will go this far. Why would he accuse someone of being questionable, when in fact he's the one whose actions are questionable. 

"I was actually thinking of that too." Jirou responded. "I mean look at the facts, remember the first day of our trip? He vanished out of nowhere and suddenly appeared at the explosion at the center."

"Are you being serious Jirou?!"

"Uhuh." Jirou nodded

"Sorry, but I'm out of here." I grabbed a piece of toast with egg "Thanks by the way for the food." I waved at them goodbye as I walked out of the kitchen and towards the elevator.

Time skip - 3:00 pm, 1 hour before Todoroki's date with Akari.

I was sitting at the common area with some of my classmates like Hagakure, Ojiro, Shouji, Koda and Aoyama. We were watching "The Avengers: Infinity War" while we are sipping some lemonade Uraraka and Mina made. Our eyes were glued to the screen as Wanda Maximoff was currently crushing the mind stone in Vision's forehead. Aoyama's tearing up while Hagakure's sniffing. It was really an intense scene when suddenly noticed Todoroki as he walked towards the door. "Oh right, he's going on a date."

"Todoroki, where are you going?" Mina asked him from the kitchen

"I'm going to meet a friend." He answered back plainly. 

"Yeah right... a friend." I rolled my eyes unfortunately it met Todoroki's eyes. He must have seen my reaction

"Oooohhh!! is she a girl?" Mina exclaimed as she held her hands together.

Todoroki nodded in response

"Have fun Todoroki" Uraraka, Hagakure and Mina cheered together as they let out a very wide grin.

"Thanks." Todoroki bowed then off he went.

 "Thanks? So he's really  going to have fun on his date?? Tch." 

"Yaoyorozu, you're crumpling your paper cup. It's already spilling." Shoji pointed at my cup.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" I immediately wiped the lemonade with the napkin on the table.

"Are you alright Momo?" Hagakure asked me

"Yeah I'm fine thank you, excuse me." I ran towards the elevator and to my room. I plopped down at my bed and covered myself with my blanket.

I can't explain what I'm feeling. I am mad at Todoroki for going on a date with her girlfriend, I want to stop him from going.

Thoughts of him and his girlfriend started to fill my mind. An image of them having fun continued to flash on my mind. That's when I knew that I am indeed jealous of Todoroki and his girlfriend, but what made it worse is the fact that I knew that I don't have the right to feel this. I can't be jealous, I can't be possessive of him, for he's not mine.

And that broke my heart.
