Chapter 20: Toga

Yaoyorozu's POV

"So is this your parent's car?"

"Yes, this is it." The girl answered as she sat on the car hood. I looked around, trying to search for the little girl's parents but they are no where to be found. In fact there are no people here at all, it is just me and the little girl.

The quietness of the parking lot makes me uneasy. I walked around the car to inspect 'cause there's definitely something's wrong here. I continued to inspect every single detail of the car when suddenly someone kicked my knees. It was the little girl.

I was not expecting that from her when she suddenly pinned me down. I was too confused.

"Awww you poor thing" She said smiling at me, when suddenly her skin started to melt revealing a blonde yellow eyed girl.

"H-himiko toga" I growled

"Momo Yaoyorozu! I finally meet you. I've been hearing wonders about you! I really want to play with you but... unfortunately we need to hand you over in your perfect state-" Toga frowned as she looked away "But I guess cutting you will be fine, It's  not like I'm gonna cut you so deep that you'll going to bleed to death!!" Toga's now staring at my eyes as she smiled maniacally while she revealed her blade.

Todoroki's POV

I have to distract Dabi from following Momo that's why I have been keeping him occupied. His blue flames kept attacking me while I keep up by blocking them with either my flames or my ice. I know I have to focus on Dabi right now but I can't stop worrying about Momo. I heard Dabi calling Twice for backup when Momo tried to escape. "Tch, I have to follow her."

I was too busy with my thoughts, that I didn't saw Dabi's counter attack. He slid behind me as he aimed his fire at my back. I was expecting for his attack towards me when he suddenly fired his flame on his side. I furrowed my brows in confusion, my eyes followed his blue flames. That's when I realized, the pro-heroes are already here. Endeavor is here.

Endeavor's flames came rushing towards Dabi's attack.

"Shoto, let me handle this. It's been a while since you and I have met... Dabi." Endeavor said, I hate to follow this old man's commands, but I have no choice. I have to follow Momo.

I leave immediately and searched the place but I have no traces of her, but my eyes landed on a little girl who's holding a cloth in her arm and is sobbing alone.

"Hey, are you alright?" I approached the girl "are you bleeding?"

"U-umm, I'm fine now. I got separated from my parents and out of nowhere a random lady took some of my blood then she transformed to look exactly like me. I-it was scary!"

"Where is this lady you're talking about?" I kept my eyes on the little girl

"Another lady passed by here, and the one who looked like me tricked her into believing that she's a really a small girl. T-they went out there!" The little girl pointed towards the door that leads to the parking lot. I have to go there now. I don't know why but I have this gut feeling that Toga's here and she's out to get Yaoyorozu.

I was panting when I arrived at the parking lot. My eyes started drifting from one place to another as I scan the place. 

"Todoroki?" 

"Y-yaoyorozu?" I turned around to see who it was

"Todoroki!!" I was so happy, my eyes were about to tear. It was no other than Yaoyorozu, I was so glad that she's safe. Yaoyorozu ran towards me, I was expecting a hug from her but I was surprised when she went straight to kiss me. Yes, she kissed me on my lips then proceeded to hug me.

"I was waiting for you Todoroki, I was really scared!" I tried to pull away from her hug but she's holding me tightly.

"Yaoyorozu, I think this is enough-"

"No, uhmm I mean... c-can we stay like this just a little bit longer? This feels nice." 

I quickly placed my hand towards Yaoyorozu as I blasted her with ice, but she managed to dodge it anyway.

"What was that Todoroki?" she asked me while she was holding a blade in her right hand

"Stop this right now... Toga." Toga smiled at me

"Clever, I was hoping for some blood samples from you but unfortunately today's my unlucky day. Same as with your girlfriend, today is her very unlucky day."

"Where is she?"

"Hmm.. let's just say she's missing-"

I was about to step forward towards Toga, when suddenly a car drifted between Toga and I. I focused my eyes on the car to see that it was Twice and Yaoyorozu, and they are fighting over the steering wheel.

I stroked my hands over the car, my ice went rushing towards twice. I focused my eyes at my ice that I almost forget about Toga behind me.

"Todoroki behind you!" Yaoyorozu screamed, I turned my gaze around to see Toga who was about to slash me with her handy dandy knife.

I was watching Toga as she run towards me in a flash, but my focus were caught by the flying threads in the air. These fibers of threads wrapped toga quickly until she was no longer able to move. My eyes followed where the threads came from, and as expected it came from Best Jeanist. The pro heroes are here, we're finally safe.

"Todoroki!" I spun around to see a teary eyed Yaoyorozu who was rushing towards me.

"Yaoyo-" I was cut off when she suddenly jumped to hug me. I was not expecting this. I can feel my face heating up as our bodies touched.

"Oh! I-i'm s-sorry!" She quickly let me go as she bowed. "I-I was just worried about you and-"

I didn't let her finish, I pulled her quickly into a hug. "I was worried about you too"

"I'm sorry, I should have listened to you. If only I believed you in the first place, this would not happen at all." I saw tears forming in her eyes when she looked away.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." She one again looked at me, but this time her eyes were wider as if she looked shocked.

"You're head is bleeding!" She quickly created a cloth in her hands as she held it in my forehead.

"I'm really fine, it's just dried blood." I tried to reassure her that I'm fine but she looked more worried than before. She held my hand as she guided me away from the scene. Rescuers were approaching us but she kindly rejected them.

Yaoyorozu's POV

"Yaoyorozu where are we going?" Todoroki asked me as I was guiding him away from the mall

"Home, I need to mend your wounds and scratches " I simply answered him. Our family chauffeur was already waiting for us, it was a short quiet ride. We arrived at our dorm and was welcomed by my classmates who were worried about us.

"Yaomomo! Todoroki! Everyone, they're here!" Mina screamed as he hugged me.

"What happened?" Uraraka asked

"Woah you guys are full of scratches, are you guys alright?" Kirishima was the next one to ask

"We're fine, sorry for worrying you all." I smiled at them "B-but we need to go, I'm sorry" I quickly head towards my room still holding Todoroki with me. I glanced at him, his eyes were wide as it was glued  to our hands.

"Please sit, I have to mend your scratches and wounds" I went straight to my cabinet to grab my first aid kit.

"I told you, I'm fine-"

"I insist, please let me do this. This is the least I can do to you after saving me. I owe you a lot."

"It's no big deal, but fine."
