Chapter 6: Can you stay?

Yaoyorozu's POV

I landed at Takenaga's arms. I was surprised, he was the least person I expected to save me. The fact that he left recently due to an emergency made it impossible for him to be here. Why is he here? But I guess that doesn't matter right now, what matters is that I'm alive, I am fine thanks to him.

He carried me (bridal style) but I quickly jumped away from his arms standing on my own, my legs are still quite injured.

"T-thank you Takenaga" my voice was still shaking, in fact my whole body was still shaking. I could say that I'm fine, but I can't deny that part of me was still in shock.

"There's no need to thank me, after all that's what friends do right?" smirking at me

"No, I should thank you, you saved my life"

"No problem Momo"

My girlfriends suddenly came into my mind, they must be worried. I need to find them. I searched the place, placing a hand over my forehead to cover my eyes from the bright sun. Minutes later I spotted them, I also saw this dual haired boy with them.

"Todoroki?" I whispered unintentionally

"What?" Takenaga raised a brow as he scanned my face

"Oh, nothing! I should probably go now, thank you again!" I bowed at Takenaga, to show him my sincere gratitude.

I stepped forward but my right leg was still in pain, I tried to walk but I was limping. My legs were shaking but I couldn't care less, I just want to reach my friends. Sure, I can just scream their names, but due to the large crowd gathered here It would be impossible for them to hear me. I continued to walk disregarding the sharp pain in my ankle when suddenly I felt someone held my waist it made me startled. 

"Takenaga!what are you-"

"You are limping, let me help you." He held my hand and placed it in his shoulder making me lean towards him. We walked together side by side. "There... better?" He asked giving me a smile.

"Yeah, thank you... again." 

"Don't mention it, we're friends Momo."

Todoroki's POV

I rushed towards the center, my heart was beating wildly. The crowd gathered at the entrance of the mall. As I approached the entrance, I witnessed rescuers carrying heavily injured people. My heart raced faster than before. I scanned the whole place, trying to spot a certain black haired girl. "Please be safe" I whispered to myself or more likely praying that Yaoyorozu will be fine. 

"Todoroki!"

A voice shouted from behind me

"Todoroki" Ochaco was calling my name, together with the other girls. I ran towards them, as I was running I noticed that someone's still missing. Yaoyorozu isn't with them.

"Where's Yaoyorozu?"

"We don't know, she went somewhere. We t-tried to look for her... we did, but the rescuers insisted that we should leave the place, kero." Tsuyu's voice is shaking as she answered, tears started to form in her eyes. 

"Hey, hey wait! Isn't that Yaomomo?!" Mina pointed towards the door of the center.

There she was. Hair down, dusty looking Yaoyorozu, but despite all of that she still looked drop dead gorgeous. She was limping, putting her weight towards the one who was helping her walk which was no other than Takenaga. "Why is he here? I thought he had an emergency?" I shoved those thoughts away, all I could think about right now is Yaoyorozu. The girls and I ran towards her, my eyes glanced towards Takenags's hand as it held Yaoyorozu's waist making me want to snatch her away from him. Why? I don't know either. I'm just not comfortable with him holding her.
