Is this jealousy Todoroki?

Chapter 13: Dark Shadow

Yaoyorozu's POV

I was shocked to see Todoroki's text. I mean why would he want to talk to me? I don't know how to  face him without looking like a tomato because of all the blushing in my face. But I have no choice, I can't tell him I can't stay. That would be rude.

I stood beside my seat as I let my other classmates passed by me. Todoroki was standing too, we waited for everyone to be off the bus before he approached me.

"Yaoyorozu."

"Todoroki san. Do you need something?" I looked at him but he's looking downwards. That's when I realized his holding something.

"Jirou told me that you were checking the Rattan Stall at the Park yesterday , but you weren't able to buy because of the explosion." I stared at his eyes as he was still looking at the the paper bag he's holding. "It must've sucked, being injured and not being able to get what you wanted. That's why I thought you'd like this." He told me as he held the bag towards me.

"Todoroki." I whispered, I didn't know how to react. I was too speechless at that moment. I grabbed the paper bag and opened it. My eyes widened as I saw a Rattan Bag, the same Rattan Bag that I wanted to buy. "This was the bag that I wanted!" I said to him as I pulled the Rattan Bag out of the paper bag.

"Really?" he smiled. Wait what? He smiled?! Todoroki-san rarely smile.

"Thank you Todoroki san. I really love it!" I told him as I put it on my shoulder.

"I'm glad you liked it."

"TODOROKI! YAOYOROZU! WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING THERE? LET'S GO!" Iida peered through the bus door as he shouted our names. I rolled my eyes and followed him outside, Todoroki trailed behind me.

"Why did he gave me this bag?"  I can't stop thinking about the bag that Todoroki just gave me. "Does he like me too?" These thoughts kept running in my mind, I can feel my blood rushing to my face and I can feel something in my stomach. As if there were butterflies fluttering inside it. "Is this how it feels to be in love?" I can't help but just smile at the thought of it. "Maybe I have a chance, maybe he does like me."

The cavern staff handed us our hard hats, flashlights and a map. Todoroki went straight to Tokoyami while Takenaga went to me.

"Are you excited?" He asked me

"Yeah, This will be my first time."

"Soo... where should we head to first?" Takenaga asked me as he opened the map in front of us.

"Don't you think it would be better if we tag along with other pairs. It will be more exciting right?" 

"Uhhh... I don't think so Momo, It would be more thrilling if we would go alone." He told me. "Let's go there!" As he held my wrist and pulled me.

"Woah" Takenaga and I gasped at the sight of the interior of the cavern. It is indeed breathtaking. I pulled out my camera and took some pictures of the rock formations inside the cavern.

I was adoring the rock formations before I saw Midoriya and Iida together with Urararaka and Tsuyu approaching us.

"Hey!" Uraraka waved  at us.

"Oh, they're here." I said as I waved back at them

"Have you guys seen Todoroki? He dropped his phone, good thing Tsuyu noticed it on the entrance." Uraraka told me as she walked towards me holding out Todoroki's phone. I stared at it and noticed it has a text message notification.

I grabbed it from Uraraka and I read the notification.

Akari: Hey Shoto❤! Let's have our date tomorrow at...

A heart sign? A d-date?! Tomorrow?! I can't believe what I'm seeing right now. I-is he dating someone? Then why did he gave me a bag earlier? Was that just a false hope? My hands are now shaking I don't know what to feel. I am disappointed, sad, jealous and.. I'm mad.

Was he playing with me? Making me fall for him just for nothing. Now I'm getting angrier. No wonder why he disliked Takenaga, 'cause he won't get to play with my feelings if ever Takenaga and I get along.

"We didn't see him, sorry" I replied coldly as I handed back Todoroki's phone.

"Oh... it's fine, we'll just look for him." Uraraka smiled

"Do you guys want to have the tour with us?" Midoriya asked

"No thanks Midoriya, Momo and I would like to tour alone." Takenaga smiled at them as he held my wrist. "Right Momo?" 

"Y-yeah..." I said softly

"Well we have to go, we don't want to waste such a precious time. Thanks for the invite by the way. See ya!" Takenaga waved at them as he went away. I trailed behind me as he held me by the wrist.

I eventually pulled my wrist away from him and just followed behind him. I kept following him because he was the one who has the map and I kinda suck at directions. It was a whole 10 minute walk when I realized that we were getting further and further.

"Takenaga, I think we should go back now. This is already way too far."

"It's fine Momo, don't worry we won't get lost." He assured me as he turned around to face me and gave me a wink.

He continued to walk for a couple of seconds before he suddenly stopped walking.

"What's the matter?-" I asked him

"I was wondering, what is your answer? Do you want to watch a movie with me tomorrow? You know like a date" He asked me as he tilted his head.

I was about to say no, when I remembered the text message on Todoroki's phone. He's going on a date too. 

I wanted to show Todoroki that he could no longer play with my feelings and I wanted him to see that I also have a "Real" admirer.

"Yes!" I answered facing Takenaga

"Really? You would go on a date with me?" His face lit up

I nodded my head when suddenly someone spoke up.

"No she's not." I turned around to see Todoroki who is lighting a fire in his left side causing his left part of his shirt to burn while Tokoyami trails beside him. "She's not going on a date with you."  It was Todoroki.

"Hey, look this is none of your business man." Takenaga told Todoroki

"Shut it, I know you're up to something-" Todoroki grumbled

"You shut up Todoroki." I snapped as my voice echoed. All of them including Tokoyami were surprised. "I'll go with him, and that is my choice."

"Let's just go Momo." Takenaga held me by the waist as he escorted.  We were already walking away from Todoroki when suddenly he was unable to walk. I looked at his feet and they were completely frozen.

"WHAT THE FUCK MAN?" Takenaga complained while Todoroki walked towards us. Todoroki grabbed me by my hand as he pulled me away from Takenaga. 

I pulled my hand away from Todoroki in annoyance. "Let him go Todoroki." I said in annoyance.

"No, I won't let you go with him." He objected

"Why do you care? I can go out with anyone that I'd like." I looked at Takenaga who is now crushing the ice on his feet with his powers. I was about to go back to Takenaga when suddenly Todoroki grabbed my arm

"Takenaga's different from what you think he is." 

"You're the one who's different from what I think you were." I growled at him completely facing him. His eyes widened, I guess he was not expecting that. I was sternly looking at his eyes, before I noticed Tokoyami. 

Tokoyami's struggling to control Dark Shadow since Todoroki left him. Dark shadow grew almost 10x his size and is now roaring in anger.

"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami screamed but Dark Shadow didn't listened.

Dark shadow shrieked and is now very angry. This is bad.
