"It was a nice celebration, wasn't it?" Nico spoke, walking down the cold hallway as Tyler scoffed, "would be nice if I could actually be there" he snapped, Nico only shook his head and let out a light chuckle. "My boy, if you are worried about not getting any of the food, I already saved you some. Don't you worry that powerful head of yours."

That only seemed to anger Tyler more, "it's not about the food, Nico!" He cried out, his face a light red, anymore and he would probably look like a cherry. "I should be outside of this damn tower! I feel like some long lost princess up in here!" He spoke with a harsh tone, walking down to his room. "And my birthday is coming up." He mutters, Nico letting out a hum, seeing if he's done with his outburst or not. "Is that so?" Nico teased, Tyler only rolling his eyes, "I want to go outside for my birthday, like, really go outside. Not to go out there to kill someone."

"Are you just upset because you didn't go the party?" Nico pushed at the question, Tyler shaking his head with anger, "screw the damn party! I don't care for it! In fact, you know how much I hate that you do these big parties for the dead! For god sake, celebrate people who are alive!"

"Are you done?" Nico raised an eyebrow, Tyler leaning on the wall right near his bedroom door as he glared at the two bishops that walked down the hall, one holding a lamb's head. "See? Didn't forget your birthday, we will have a whole party set up for you. It will be great." Nico clapped at his hands, "I also got you a big surprise that I would love to show you now if you are done with your tantrum..!"

"It's not a damn-!" Tyler started, soon taking a deep breath and looking down at his feet, "okay..show me the surprise." He mumbled as he hugged himself, Nico smiling under his cloak as he took out his hand slowly for Tyler to take it. "I'm not holding your hand" Tyler snorts, Nico letting out a soft laugh. "Of course, I should of knew better, follow me." He told his son, soon walking down the hall once again as Tyler followed behind him, seeing the blood stained on the hallway floor from the lamb head he had just saw.

Tyler made a face at it, soon hearing Nico clear his throat as he looked over, watching him open a door to one of the rooms that have been locked for since Tyler could remember, he hoped this would be a good surprise. "What is this?" Tyler asked in a whisper, he felt like he had to, the room was so dark and quiet.

"It's your surprise." Nico said with a slight smirk, walking in as he flipped at the light switch, Tyler winced at the flickering lights as he stared for a moment with confusion, seeing all these messy papers scattered on a desk, photos of people in yellow that hid their face pinned up on the wall.

"Well.." Tyler started, trying to not act ungrateful but this was a shitty surprise, looking over at Nico to hear his low chuckle that always made his skin crawl. "I haven't even explained to you what the full on surprise is..!" Nico explained, soon walking over to the desk, Tyler hovering over his shoulder as he squints his eyes at the papers.

"Well, explain." Tyler spoke, waiting for him  to talk.

"You said you wanted to go out,, of the tower, yeah?" Nico smirked, seeing Tyler perk up. "Well, I know you are getting sick of all the test and tacks but please listen to what I have to say before you snap, got it?" Nico starts, Tyler just huffing as he nodded, "good. Now, I need you to kill someone for me, someone who has been bothering with things that I wish to accomplish, things that I need for our future but I can't do this without this  man dead." Nico handed Tyler a picture of a man, all in black with yellow duck tape around his body and near his neck.

"Are you kidding?! My surprise is to do more dirty work for you?!" Tyler growled out, "this dirty work will let you be free from the tower for many weeks, maybe even a full on month. You can do whatever you want while you go and kill this man, the leader of the banditos. His name is Luis." Nico spoke in a calm manner, standing up straight as Tyler listened to him. "I will be.. out of here?" Tyler asked with a small smile, even if his heart was pounding in his chest with the fact of him having to kill someone once again.

"After this,, I just.. I don't want to kill anymore, Nico." Tyler said softly, his eyes glassy as Nico let out a sigh, moving to cup at Tyler's hands. "Tyler, my son.. no more killing afterwards for you. And I'll let you have more free time. I'll show the people my son."

Tyler sniffled, gently moving Nico's hands away from his face as he felt hot tears fall down his face, "promise?" Tyler's voice broke down, along with him.

"I promise, my son."  Nico said softly to him, Tyler couldn't help but let out a small happy sob. "I get to go to places, now? I get to go and meet people?" Tyler asked the question, Nico let out a laugh and nodded, wiping Tyler's tears. "I get to go out.." Tyler whispers, all hitting at him at once. "Thank you, Nico, thank you." He mutters with a small whimper.

"Of course, Tyler. Now, let's talk about the last great kill you will ever need to face." Nico poked at the man's face on the poster. "His name is Luis, he became the new bandito leader. These ignorant people have been trying to destroy me for years. Ever since I became a leader of these people, the ones in..what's the color again?"

"Yellow." Tyler said, listening to him continue.

Nico gave a slight nod to it with a hum, "the ones in yellow, right. They are evil, Tyler, do you understand that?" Nico tightly grabbed at Tyler's shoulders which made his body tense up, looking up at him and gave him a cowardly nod. "Yes, I understand."

Tyler didn't understand, because even if this was all he had, this wasn't what he thought was right in the end. He was just only surviving, but he still felt like he was made for this place, that this place was meant for him due to his evil power. Nothing ever came good from it. Nothing.

He still couldn't wrap his head around the fact that Nico was his father, it made him feel uncomfortable to think about, his childhood was too foggy but he couldn't question his entire existence, he was already starting to have a headache.

"With your power, with you, Blurryface. We can be at peace and I will show the town, the world, my powerful son." Nico smiled down at him as Tyler let out a hiss of pain at the burning of his skin on his neck and hands slowly turning black as those pretty dark brown eyes turned to a bloody red.

"Those people in yellow don't stand a chance without their leader, without guidance, those fools." Nico spat out as he looked at Tyler with a proud look on his face to see Blurryface, Tyler only huffing as he looked away. "Kill the leader, blurryface. And you will have your freedom." Nico cupped his face, Tyler struggling to look away. "Don't call me that, let me breathe, Nico" Tyler said sternly, Nico letting out a chuckle as he let go of his face.

Tyler took a deep breath as he leaned on the wall, his body going numb, "can we talk more about this in the morning? I want to go to bed."

"Of course, Tyler." Nico watched those red eyes go back to the dark brown ones, "goodnight, my son."

"Goodnight, Nico." Tyler mumbled as he left the room, walking to his room and shutting the door and made his way over to his bed and laid down, laying back and cuddles under the covers as he stared up at the ceiling. He felt hot tears stream down his face as he let white noise take over the heart beating in his eardrums, he didn't know how to feel about this surprise. He wanted freedom, living in this tower was driving him insane, he wanted to be known and to not be a ghost in this town. He wanted to be somebody.

He didn't just want to be blurryface.
