It's a new morning with light showers of rain still sprinkling. It has been raining very heavily for past three days. This morning was quite a better one as presently, it was just drizzling. The wind was blowing, making the small droplets of rain pour slant and hence, small rain drops were continuously sticking on my room's window and then sliding down.
It's 9:00 AM and I'm still laying on my bed with a thin quilt unfurled over me. It felt humid. I was lazy enough to get up and open up the window pane so as to get some cool fresh air and so, I flipped myself to the other side of my bed, took the zapper and switched on the air conditioner. Then turned back to my earlier position.
My left leg was on the bed while my right leg hung off the bed. My left hand was resting on my temple while my right hand hung off the bed, making parallel with my right leg. My eyes were continuously staring at the wet window through which I could see those massive and heavy black-grey clouds.
But a knock on my room's door interrupted my concentration. I was feeling quite lazy to get up and open up the door and so, I gathered all my strength and in a low voice I said, "Come in! The door is open." After replying, I fixed my gaze on the grey clouds. They looked as pretty as anything. I could spot all the shades of grey and blue.
The cook entered the room, kept my breakfast and decided to leave without saying a word. She must have guessed it that I wasn't in a mood to have any sort of conversation. If this is what she thought, then I must say - She's smart enough!
____Two hours have passed since the cook has kept the breakfast and went. But I wasn't willing to eat. The view outside is so mesmerising that it has taken away all my hunger.
Lazily, I got up and walked towards the table where the breakfast was kept. I was expecting it to be the same old Cheese Toast wrapped up in a Kraft paper, because Cheese Toast was the only thing our 'well trained cook' knows how to make perfectly.
I took the plate and placed it on the table which stood next to the window. I sat on the chair next to it and uncovered the food. To my surprise, it wasn't a Cheese Toast this time. It was my favourite food, Pasta. And it was like icing on the cake to know that it was made by my mom and not that cook lady who only knows how to cook tasteless food. Well, tasteless food is something Jake prefers! (I'll tell you later who Jake is.)
I ate my breakfast and kept the empty plate outside the room for the servant to come and take it to the kitchen's sink.
Some moments later, I heard my mom's voice. She was calling me.
"Hun! You are supposed to clean up your room today. Start with the same right away.""Okay, mom. Thanks for the amazing Pasta, by the way."
"I'm happy you liked it, May." My mom replied me back.
Without saying anything further, I started cleaning up my room.

Yayy! Prologue ends here. Now, probably you must be wondering about this 'clean-up your cupboard' plot here. You must be knowing what all stuff is found is the cupboard of a teenager. Getting the vibe? Great!
Anyways, you'll get the clear picture of this whole thing in the next chapter.
Stay tuned readers!
Peace ✌️
