Yeonjun went back home by bus, despite Soobin offering to take him back by car.

The elder denied, not needing to have more human interaction. (His anti-social ass could only take so much)

His house was quiet, the hum of the Television filling his ears. He made his way to the living room, and saw his mother watching TV.

That was a first.

Usually, she would go to her room and sleep after a shower, leaving Yeonjun alone. But she was watching TV. Yeonjun felt like throwing up for some reason.

Yeonjun's mother noticed the staring boy and smiled. "Hey, Jun."

"Hi..."

"Why are just standing here? Come sit with me."

Yeonjun hesitantly sat beside his mother, who's attention was back on a cheesy Christmas movie. 

"How was school?" His mother suddenly asked. Yeonjun shrugged. "It was alright."

"You seem tense. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah."

"Where did you go?"

"To a friend's house."

"That's nice." 

They air felt heavy and tense, and Yeonjun knew it was his fault. His mother was just trying to talk to him, but he couldn't, wouldn't. 

Maybe it was spite, but he didn't want to ever talk to her unless he had to. "Why are you here?"

It sounded rude and blunt, and he didn't bother being extra polite with his honorifics. His mother frowned and looked at her son. "What?"

"You're always at work, and them come home at midnight. Why are you here now?"

"Is being here early a bad thing?"

"If the first thing you do is scold me and tell me i'm a bad role model, then yeah."

"Don't give me attitude, young man."

"How? I'm telling you how I feel."

"You could be nicer."

"Fuck nicer!" Yeonjun snapped. It was weird. Hanging out with Soobin - if only for a day or so - had released some anger inside of him. "Fuck it all!"

"How dare you curse at me?!"

"What are you gonna do? Ground me? In case you haven't noticed, you're barely here to do anything!"

Yeonjun stood up and stormed to his room, making sure to slam his door. 

It felt good.

It felt really good.

So, Yeonjun laughed.

And Yeonjun cried.

Or you're so happy you cry?

I don't know how Yeonjun feels, but it's one of them i guess.
