"Why'd you sent him away?"

"Is he the reason you're so rude? Is he that much of a bad influence?"

"Does he look like a bad influence to you?!"

"Do not raise your voice at me, Yeonjun."

"Whatever."

"Clearly, moving away is the best choice."

"Bullshit!"

"Choi Yeonjun!"

Yeonjun was grounded and sent to his room. I mean, he kinda asked for it but-

he was mad that his moment with Soobin was ruined. Yeonjun looked out the window. It was Halloween, but he didn't care. He just wanted to cuddle Soobin again. However, his mother was now set on the idea that moving away was the best choice. Jun took his phone out and went online.

Yeonjun thought for a second, and decided to be bad one more time.

Soobin entered his house and was greeted by his dog like always. "Oh. Where were you?" His mother asked. "Just with a friend."

"I see. Don't let your father find out." She whispered with a really bad wink. Soobin giggled and kicked off his shoes. Sunoo was setting the table and rolled his eyes at their mother, feeling embarrassed and amused at the same time.

Just as they were about to sit and eat, their father came in. "I'm home early." He said, as if they couldn't see that. So the Choi family sat and ate in silence, small talk occasionally. "So," Mr. Choi started. "How's school, Sunoo?"

Sunoo smiled and shrugged. "Straight A's~"

Mr Choi nodded and smiled back. "Soobin? How about you?" He questioned. Soobin looked down at his food. "Same here."

"Good! Is there a girl you are interested in, perhaps?"

Everyone froze. Here's the thing-- Mrs Choi knew her son wasn't exactly straight. He never said he wasn't but there were moments when it was hinted or made obvious. Sunoo on the other hand--

"He doesn't know?" The little brother tilted his head in confusion. "Doesn't know what?" Mr Choi asked. Mrs Choi and Soobin shook their heads at Sunoo as subtle as they could, but he didn't catch it.

"Soobin Hyung doesn't like girls, he's gay."

Soobin's eyes widened. Did Sunoo just out him like that??? Mrs Choi cleared her throat. "Do you like the food? I-"

"Is that true? Look at me, Soobin!" Mr Choi snapped. Soobin gulped and looked his father in the eye. "U-Uh...W-Well-"

"Honey, let's just enjoy our meal-" Mrs Choi was cut off by a hand being slammed on the table. "Did you know?! Did you know that our son- our son is...gay?"

Mrs Choi looked away and shook her head. "No. Even if he was, there isn't-"

"There is a problem! He's a young man! He should be focusing on women and getting a degree so he can provide for his children! Not if he looks good enough for some guy ! "

Soobin rolled his eyes, which didn't go unmissed by his father. "Choi Soobin, if you tell me you're gay, I'll-"

"You'll what?!" Soobin shouted. He was tired of his father's homophobic ways, his constant controlling behavior. And maybe Yeonjun's courage has inspired him too. "I've tried my hardest to keep it in, to let you talk whatever bullshit you want about a wife and kids! But if having a wife and kids mean I work all day and rarely talk with my kids, I don't want it! Especially since I like guys!

"I'm gay, dad! I don't want a wife, I don't want to do some boring office job, I want help people and have an amazing husband who works just as hard with his passion! I'm not going to live how you want me to because it's my fucking life and I'll live it like I fucking want!"

Soobin turned to his mother, who had tears in her eyes and a warm smile on her face. Mr Choi nodded with a somewhat warm look in his eyes. "It's okay, Soobin. I'll get you help."

Soobin scoffed and felt tears in his eyes. "H-Help?"

Sunoo felt really, really bad. He didn't know his father was homophobic, since his mother was a very open and accepting person.

"Yes, clearly you need therapy."

Mrs Choi sighed and put down her fork. "Honey, conversion therapy doesn't help in any way-"

"Nonsense, if we find the right place-" Soobin burst out laughing at how ridiculous his father sounded. Conversion therapy? "Soobin, don't cry," Sunoo soothed. The elder hadn't realised he was crying, and now he was close to sobbing.

"Soobin, crying is not a manly thing to do." Mr Choi tutted. Soobin started laughing and and wiped his tears. "Fuck you."

They all looked at Soobin in shock. "What did you just say?"

"FUCK YOU! I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON A DICK!" Soobin screamed, before rushing into his room. His mother held in her laughter. "How funny. The gay son telling his homophobic father to choke on a penis."

She glanced at her husband. "You're sleeping on the couch for a week."

Soobin sat on his bed, crying his eyes out. He felt like shit and could feel a headache coming. His phone kept ringing but he couldn't care less about who was calling. Soobin didn't want to do conversion therapy and hated that the thought even crossed his dad's mind. At least his mother was okay with it, right.

So the sad bunny sat on his bed and scrolled on his phone, trying to forget what happened.
