Soobin sat in the waiting room in the hospital, his father by his side. they were there to make sure Yeonjun wasn't hurt. Yerin rushed towards them.
"where is he? is he okay?" she rambled. Soobin, who was overwhelmed, looked as if he was going to burst into tears. Mr Choi stood up and guided Yerin to a corner to fill her in.
I can't believe I didn't notice anything was wrong... Soobin thought, running his hands through his purple hair.
"Are you with Choi Yeonjun?" A doctor asked Soobin. Mr Choi and Yerin walked over and the doctor brought them to the room Yeonjun was in.
"We had to drug him just to calm him down, so he's a little drowsy right now. Only one person at a time, please." The doctor explained before opening the door. "You can go in, Soobin." Yerin said, smiling encouragingly. Soobin shook his head and stepped back. "No, he won't want to see me."
"Soobin, I doubt he'll want to talk to me more than you." Yerin snapped, pushing him in. The door closed behind him.
Soobin cautiously made his way towards Yeonjun. The elder was looking out the window, and saw Soobin approaching him through his reflection. He turned at looked at his boyfriend. His purple hair was a tangled mess, he had dark circles under his eyes and his skin looked pale.
"It's only been a few hours..." Yeonjun mumbled. Soobin bit his lip, trying to think of something, anything to say. "You should stay in bed and rest," He said.
Yeonjun just looked at him, no movement. "Um...Do you want me to call Huening Kai and the others?"
"No," Yeonjun said, looking away. "I don't want to bother them."
"Okay,"
There was a suffocating silence between them, only broken by the coughs of other patients.
"How do you feel?" Soobin finally asked. Yeonjun laid on the bed and sighed. "I feel like shit. What do you expect me to say?"
"Sorry...What happened to your arm?" Soobin questioned, stepping closer. Yeonjun lifted up his bandaged arm and looked at it. "What do you think? I mean, it's not easy to say..."
Soobin frowned and sat on the bed beside Yeonjun, who looked as if he was going to fall asleep. "When?" Yeonjun closed his eyes. "I'm tired,"
"Jun..." Soobin looked at him with pleading eyes. Yeonjun opened his eyes and sighed. "Two days ago. Happy?"
"Why would I be happy?"
"I'm being sarcastic, bin." Yeonjun scoffed, closing his eyes again. Soobin nodded. "Right...Are you sleeping?"
Yeonjun hummed, and snuggled into Soobin's side. "Jun?"
"I'm sorry, Soobin. I really am. I just...I just wanted to be free. Life was dull and painful, and I felt like I was suffocating." Yeonjun whispered. Soobin wrapped his arms around the elder and laid beside him. "Do you still want to..."
"Die? Yeah. I really do," Yeonjun mumbled, sleep taking over. Soobin stayed silent and listened to Yeonjun's shallow breathing. "Sleep well, Junnie."

Yeonjun woke up in a the empty hospital bed. "Soobin?"
The other beds were empty too, and the dark sky outside was without a moon.
"Soobin?" He called out again, opening the door. The halls were empty and dimly lit, but there was a shining light. He followed it, foolishly.
He entered a room, his room. When did he leave the hospital, and why was he in school uniform?
Soobin was on his bed, his red headphones blasting a song. "Soobin!" Yeonjun yelled, taking off the red headphones. Soobin looked up at him with empty eyes. "I've been looking for you. W-Why did you go?"
Soobin grabbed his wrist and raised his arm. "You expect me to stay with someone who does something as pathetic as cutting themself? Do me a favour and leave me alone."
Soobin stood up and walked out of the room. Yeonjun ran after him, but the door slam shut and locked. "Soobin? Soobin, wait!"
He tried pulling open the door but it was completely locked. "S-Soobin..."
He glanced back at the bed, a blade laying there. Waiting. Yeonjun slowly made his way towards it, in a trance. He picked up the blade and the sharp edge pressed against his skin. He let out a shakey breath as the cold metal sliced his skin and drew dark red blood.

"Yeonjun. Yeonjun!" Soobin shook the shaking boy. "Yeonjun, wake up, please! It's just a bad dream!" Soobin begged. Yeonjun's eyes fluttered open and tears rolled down his face. He looked into Soobin's sincere eyes are started to sob.
"Jun? What's wrong? Talk to me, please..." Soobin said, wiping away the tears that kept coming. "Soobin..." Yeonjun stuttered out, clinging onto Soobin.
"Yes? What is it?" Soobin wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, kissing his forehead. Yeonjun held tightly and continued to cry. "Please, don't stay...go and leave..."
"What? Yeonjun, what are you talking about?"
"I'm too pathetic. I'm going to hurt you, just go!" Yeonjun yelled. Soobin frowned but held Yeonjun tighter. "It's okay. I promise It's going to get better, baby."
