Marinette

Lucky me. We just checked into the hotel and we're getting dressed for dinner at the Wayne's. With Lilas latest lie, and my reunion, things should go great. Right?
I scurried through my suitcases before I found the perfect outfit. It was a long sleeved, black top, with a black belt, and a plaid skirt. I threw in heeled ankle boots, silver, dangly earrings, and silver bracelets. Along with the necklace Damian had given me when we were young. I applied red lipstick and mascara. My hair was down and curly.
Chloé walked out of our bathroom wearing a the same thing, but her skirt was black and yellow. And her hair was straight and down, while wearing a locket her father gave her.
"We look hot, Mari." She said as she grabbed her purse. "Let's go! Alfred should be here."
I played with my fingers as we walked out the door and into the elevator. "Everything will be fine." Chloé whispered.
"Your one to talk. You don't have to look at the people you consider another family and explain what's been happening the past few years and why I stoped calling and emailing."
I wasn't just nervous. I was going nuts. And when the elevator opened, and I saw Alfred for the first time in years I almost cried. Good thing I'm wearing waterproof mascara.
"Hey Alfred. Long time no see." I said as I wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Marinette, it so good to see you. How are you? I didn't know you would be in this class."
I smiled forcefully. "I'm good. This is my best friend Chloé. Chloé this is Alfred, he like everyone's grandpa." I said with a chuckle, that hurt so much.
"Alright everyone, it's time to go!" Alfred called to my classmates. I grabbed Chloé's hand as Adrien watched me closely. Chloé squeezed back, glaring at Adrien as we loaded the limo.

I was the last person to get out of the limo. I really didn't want to face them. I was freaking out. I—this was a bad idea! Why am I here!
"Stop panicking. Everything will be fine." Chloé whispered as she pulled me out of the limo. I heard talking, then it was silent. I was staring at the ground, and when the taking stopped, I slowly lifted my head to see the Wayne's staring at me. I held my hand up and waved awkwardly.
"Hi guys."

The silence was overwhelming. It was insane. They didn't move or breath for that matter. So I took the chance to look them over. Dick and Kor'i were married. Jason looked exactly the same. Barbra was in a wheelchair. I felt tears weal up in my eyes at that factor. Tim looked as sleep deprived as ever. And Damian. Damian looked his normal, grumpy self. I looked at Bruce and Salina and smiled sadly.
"You guys are killing me with the silence here." I said while placing my hand on my hip. It was being smacked out of a trance. One minute they were still and quiet, the next they were running at me and tackling me to the ground, shouting my name. I couldn't stop laughing, and crying.
"Hi guys. It's so good to see you again, but...... get off me!" They jumped up and I individually hugged them, before going to Barbra. "How did this happen? Was it being an officer or—"
"The other side. Joker beat me into a coma and ended up killing Jason. Talia brought him back to life."
"Wow, Talia had a heart for once?"
She laughed "yeah, but he didn't come back for a few years." She smiled sadly, "It's been awhile since we heard from you. You sure your ok?"
I nodded with a smile on my face. Then I felt a hand on my back. I tensed at the coldness isn't he touch. And when I turned around, I was tending for a whole mother reason. "What do you want Agreste?" I said, shoving his hand away and crossing my arms.
"Asking why you were tackled by those guys. You know better then that." He was mad. He was really mad.
"I don't owe you anything Agreste. You know the rules, stay away from me." I said and tried to walk away, but he grabbed my arm and held me in place. I looked around desperately for Chloé but she was currently yelling at Tim, probably for his lack of sleep.
"Let go of me Adrien. Your going to get hurt and you won't like it." I hissed. I looked at Barbara but she was talking to Kor'i. Of course no one was watching me. His grip tightened on my arm, and I felt his nails dig into my skin.
"Stay away from them." He hissed.
"They are my family. I won't ignore them." I said trying to push his hand off my arm. It wasn't budging.
"Adrien! So help me god stay away!" Chloé yelled as she shoved him away, successfully dislodging his hand and nails from my arm. Chloé stood in front of me, hands on her hips, a permanent glare on her face. I looked around and saw all the Wayne staring at us. I placed a hand on Chloé's shoulder.
"I'm ok, Chlo. Calm down. We have an audience." I whispered.
Her shoulders were still tense, but she shoved him away one last time before taking me inside the manor. I showed her to a bathroom and she rolled my sleeve up.
"I'm gonna kill him." She hissed, and pulled out the travel first aid kit she has. I had a bruise the size of my palm on my arm, that was black and blue. There were tiny cuts as well from where his nails dug in.
"Angel, are you ok? Alfred sent me to check— what the hell happened?" Damian asked as he rushed over and looked at my arm. I knew he saw the scars and the bruise I was now sporting, but I couldn't look him in the eye.
"I'm gonna leave you two alone. Tell him, Mari. It'll be good for you." Chloé said before she ran out the door.
'Traitor!' I thought before slowly looking at Damian. I was in deep and total shit, but what can I say, I caused this the second I didn't tell him.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you." I whispered as he wrapped a bandage around my bruise. For some reason, I don't know.
"Why didn't you?" He asked, he was angry. He was upset and hurt that I didn't tell him, but I don't know if I'm in the right anymore. The tough girl act breaks with him every time.
"I didn't want them to know I knew you. I'm not embarrassed or anything of you, your my best friend. But Lila uses 'connections' to get what she wants. She claimed to be dating you and that's how we got the trip, so I didn't want to drag you guys into this." I left that fact that I wasn't returning to Paris after the trip out. And when he was finished, he looked me in the eye and sighed.
"I-I- you should have told me." He whispered again.
I looked away, ashamed of my decision, and ashamed that I hurt him. I rolled my sleeve down and and walked out of the room.
"I'm sorry." I whispered.
