Chapter 35 The tourament boxing

Third POV:
"Oiiii! Y/n! Your right on time!" Luffy said see Y/n walk towards the strawhat gang, they were in the beach hanging out each together. Luffy made a phone call to Y/n that she like to hang out with them so she agree. "Hey guys, great weather here." Y/n smile at the gang. "Come sit me!" Luffy said. Y/n walk up to him lay her towel on the sand and place her bag by her. She dig through her bag pull out of sunscreen, she squirt the sunscreen on her hand and rub her arms, legs, and chest.

A man from not too far he lay on the sand hear his gang playing each other. He's about to get up before saw a girl who was with the straw hat gang. His mouth hang open his glasses was slide down show his eyes widen. "Hey boss, you okay?" One of his man walk up to him. He look where his boss looking at see a lady,his mouth hang open and his eyes widen. The boss mans walk up to them where they're looking at and shock see a lady. The boss shake his head turn around facing his gang "Boys!! I had an idea?"

Y/n and Nami play volleyball with Chopper and Usopp. Suddenly a sound of multiple footsteps made them stop playing, the gangs look ahead see the large gang running at them. "What's going on?!" Y/n panicked. The large gangs stop their tracks right front of them, the group move aside letting the boss through. Once the boss made it through he grin at Luffy. "Luffy, we meet again." "Hm?.....who are you again?" Luffy ask causing the man fall on the ground "He...doesn't remember me." "Oh no! Boss cheer up." "Hey hold on! Is that Foxy?" Nami said. "Nami, what's going on? Do you guys know them?" Y/n ask.

"We met them last year, that guy over there is Foxy the leader of Foxy gang. He was challenging Luffy to boxing, after the boxing was over Luffy won." Nami explain. "So what you guys want?" "Well as you can see I want a rematch!" Foxy said pointing at Luffy. "Me? Why?" Luffy ask. "As you can see, it's not any boxing but this rematch has a prize to it." "What kind of prize?" Usopp ask. Foxy pointed at Y/n "Whoever won the tournament shall take that beauty." Foxy said causing the strawhat gang shocked. "No! You shall not take Y/n~Chan!" "Don't even try it or else I'll punch you." Sanji and Zoro stand front Y/n protectively.

"Luffy I don't know about-" "I'll do it." Luffy cut off Nami sentence. "You serious?!!" "Ha ha ha! Good. Let's see who'll win over the lady." Foxy chuckle.

-Timeskip after warming up-

"So here are the rules, when the opponent took the rival down shall win over the beauty. But when a opponent was down, they lose." Foxy explain stretching his arms. Y/n sat on the towel watching Foxy and Luffy walking each other in circle staring each other with determination. 'You got this Luffy, don't let your guard down.' She thought. "Y/n! Don't worry! I'll win for you!" Luffy exclaim.

The bell rang, Luffy charge at Foxy punch him but Foxy dodge his punch. Foxy punch Luffy on the chest cause him skid back, he grip the sand using his feet to stay standing. Luffy charge at Foxy punch him multiple times but Foxy keep dodging his punches. "Do you think Luffy will win this?" Y/n said "Don't worry, Luffy never give up. He's stronger to take down his rival." Robin said. "Don't worry Y/n~Chan! When the Foxy gang took you away I'll kick them and send them to space!" Sanji said in determined tone. "Will you keep it down, I'm trying to take a nap." Zoro groan. "What did you say?!" "You heard me!" "Bring it mosshead!" The boys about to fight before they were hit on the heads by Nami.

"Stop fighting! We don't wanna cause too much trouble. Let's keep watching the match." Nami said. "Y/n! Is that you again?" The gang turn around look up see familiar red haired male standing by the railing. "MR. SHANK!!!" The red hair chuckle and walk down the stone stairs. "Hey kids, how are you fellas doing today?" "We're doing good, and you might take a look over there." Robin said pointing at the match. Shank look where Robin pointing at see Foxy and Luffy boxing each other. "What's going on? Why Luffy fighting that guy?" Shank ask.

"Foxy want a rematch, and he tell us a rule. He said 'Who ever won the boxing shall take the beauty.' And the beauty he meant was Y/n. Because....I don't know why he want with her." Nami explain. Shank confuse expression change to shadow expression. "Oh really? Let me go talk to him..." Shank about to take a step but he was pull back by arms wrap around his waist behind. "No wait! If you ever think about causing trouble the police may arrest us if we cause too much." Shank turn his head facing Y/n with that puppy look in her eyes.

Shank blush from her cute puppy look, "Alright, I let Luffy go." He sigh. "Thank you, shall we take a seat while we watch them?" Shank nod as response sit by Y/n. "Guys, it's break time! The bell rang so we gotta help Luffy to get back on the game!" Nami called out. The gang ran up to the match reliving Luffy.

Y/n POV:
My friends help Luffy to get him back in the game, he looks tired and see sweat on his face. I don't know how long he's gonna last long, if he keep this up too much he'll pass out. The bell rang that is time, Luffy and Foxy ran up to each other. Foxy was about to throw his punch at Luffy but suddenly Luffy vanished. I was shock how he do that.

Foxy look around try to find him but a shadow appear above him. He about look up before he was punch on the face cause him knock out unconscious by Luffy. I was shock that Luffy punch him with force but how did he do that when he's not front of him anymore?

Third POV:
The Foxy gang gasped in shock and the strawhat gang cheer happily. Luffy breath heavily, he's about to fall on the sand but he was caught in someone arms. Luffy see Y/n look at him with sad smile "You did it Luffy, get some plenty of rest. You look beaten up." She said. Luffy smile at her and close his eyes.

-Timeskip-

The strawhat gang pack their beach stuff inside Franky truck that is time to go home. "You sure you can take care of him?" Nami said "Don't worry, I promise to look at him. I'll tell his brothers tomorrow and explain them." Y/n said. She place Luffy at the backseat inside Shank car, she buckled him in seatbelt so he won't get hurt. She close the car door went to the passenger seat by Shank who was at the driver seat. Y/n and Shank say bye to the Luffy friends and they drove off heading to Y/n house.

-After driving-

Shank park his car by Y/n house, Y/n got off from the car open the car door where Luffy was seating. She unbuckle him carry him in bridal style. She close the car door walk towards Shank "Can you grab my keys, they're inside my pocket." Shank nod and place his hand into her pocket than pull out the key.

He unlock the front door letting themselves in, Y/n carefully place Luffy on the couch went to the kitchen open the cabinet grab the first aid kit that was there. She walk back to the couch sit by Luffy side start to patch him up. Shank stand behind the couch watching them "Can't believe Luffy took that guy down with a hard punch." He chuckle. "You know how he is, plus he's my friend. And he's almost alike a brother to me." "What make you say that?" Shank ask. "Well, he was so funny and he made me happy. He save me from Arlong a while ago, and he love to hang out with me. That's all, he's like a big brother to me." Y/n explain.

"Wow...anyway I gotta go, take care of Luffy." Shank exit from the house close the door behind him. Y/n close the first aid kit that she finish, she pull the blanket up to Luffy and place a pillow under his head. She kiss him on the forehead "Sleep tight Luffy." She whisper.
