It was finally deafening. It felt wrong at Aaron's house, it just felt empty and agonizing at his own home but here it was just silent. The silence was going to drive him insane and Ein flinched finally his nerves kicking him into fight or flight.

He sprang up grabbing a leather jacket pulling it over his t-shirt as he hurriedly rushed out his door. After one loud echo on the tile stairs he winced and went down quieter. It didn't take him long to realize he forgot his keys and he cursed but decided to walk anyways. He only hesitated once at the doors as he questioned whether he should go or not. It only lasted a second the loud silence and his own burning grief wailing at him to leave. Ein listened stepping outside as he focused on simply getting his destination not wanting to think about anything else.

It took him a while and Ein had stuck to the spotlights not wanting his frazzled nerves to jump out at him in the darkness. Finally Ein found himself in front of where he wanted to be. The sign up top read Guidry's Cajun cafe but Ein could see the bar and it had booths set apart from the other people inside which was just what he needed. He wanted to go numb in silence.

He stepped inside and the smell of Cajun cooking made him slightly sick but he ignored it heading to the far end of the bar. He ended up buying a bottle and found himself a booth as he sat down. He was eager to tear off the seal and burn the golden amber agent into a shot glass.

Ein paused his nerves finally quieting down as he leveled his gaze down at the glass but then he thought about how much it hurt without her and the loud silence waiting at the Ro'meaves for him

The first shot was hesitant as Ein had stared at the amber liquid in his glass. He finally swallowed his pride and knocked it back the liquid burning his throat. It was feeling something and Ein relished the feeling slowly pouring himself another one. It got worse as he went, the burn something he craved feeling, admiring the way the burning heat chased away the grip of grief. He felt like he could finally grieve and Ein was relaxed for the first time in what felt like a week.

Ein giggled to himself for a second realizing that despite getting drunk the first thing he wanted was to sleep. Sleep didn't or couldn't come though. Ein was really tired but he couldn't close his eyes and it felt like someone had stuck a live wire in him just under the surface.

He stared for a moment at something before the sudden thought of Jenna entered his mind. He wanted to be angry but the more he thought of her the more he relaxed his chest tightening.

"Not fair" He finally whispered looking up wondering hysterically if Irene could see him "It wasn't FAIR!" Ein's anger burst and he pounded the table with a fist hiding a flinch with the contact. He sniffled as the anger melted into hot tears collecting his eyes and he inhaled shakily. "You were supposed to live Jen, I can't do it without you . . . my angel . . . "

Ein blinked as suddenly Jenna was sitting there. She was just the same as she was when she left and it made Ein's heart ache to touch her but he didn't move too choked up to want to. "I-miss you" he whispered not sure whether he wanted to see her again so soon after her death. That uncertainty switched snowballing into a fierce longing as Ein blinked tears" . . . your supposed to be here" He choked out voice filling with pain.

She didn't say anything simply tilted her head giving that pretty smile he so dearly missed. Ein's face fell more thinking as he started crying laying his head down in his arms on the table. When he looked up briefly she was gone and that only made him cry more knowing she was never going to really come back.
