On Monday, I did what I had to do for Jennie.

Last night, I sent a message to Mark, asking him if he has time tomorrow after class. I didn't tell Taehyung for the reason that he'll come with us and make things hard for Mark to tell us about Kai. I told my older brothers about it though, so they gave me permission to go home without them.

I made sure that the Kim cousins went home already before meeting Mark at a playground near our school. He was already playing on a swing when I arrived, so I sat on the swing beside him. "Thanks for agreeing to meet me here."

"Anything for you," Mark smiled, "This is about Jennie, am I right?"

I nodded. "Students were whispering to their friends whenever we passed by them. It was already uncomfortable for me, what more for Jennie."

"Kai hyung told us about what happened." I stared at him to focus on what he'll say. This information would help both my friends so I really should listen intently. "He called Jennie yesterday. Did Jennie tell you that?" I shook my head. Weird. Jennie didn't mention anything about Kai today. "She broke up with him the moment she answered the call then hung up."

"Really?" I asked. Wow. I didn't expect Jennei to end their relationship without hearing Kai's side.

Mark nodded slowly, like he's saddened by what happened. "Before our play last school year, he and Krystal were really in a misunderstanding. Kai's just not having any of Krystal's bitchy attitude anymore."

"Then.. what Krystal said in the cafeteria is right? They're still together during that trip?" Then Taehyung is in trouble. He's not supposed to be the one who needs to apologize in the first place. If anyone's at fault, it should be Kai - he should be the one apologizing.

"No, what Krystal said isn't entirely right." Mark said, making me tilt my head, not really following what he said. "They were still together that first day we were at Yoongi hyung's rest house. Kai broke up with her that same night. He showed us his phone for solid evidence when we didn't believe him."

"So Jennie isn't at fault, right? She didn't help Kai cheat."

"Technically, no. He said Jennie asked him if he's still with Krystal on our second day, so they're already done that time. And I think them hanging out together when we got there isn't really a problem because most of the time, Chen's with them. Kai said Jennie's really fun to be with, she gave him advice too, she said he should try asking Krystal why she acts like that. And he did that night, yet Krystal just answered that she's born that way." I cringed, making Mark chuckle. "Right? That was the lamest excuse ever. To be honest, if I were hyung, I would've ended my relationship with Krystal the moment I saw her bully her classmate."

"Krystal made a whole scene just to humiliate Jennie when she's the one who's at fault!" I stood up. "I should have pulled her hair too when Jennie started it."

Mark picked up his bag on the ground and stood up as well. "What are you going to do then? Cause a scene like Krystal did?"

I clenched my fists. I know Mark's just testing me. I really want to say yes but making a scene would cause more trouble. "No. I'll make her apologize."

"In public? Like what Taehyung said?"

"No, a face to face conversation is enough." I said, "But I want Kai to talk to Jennie too. You think you can help me with that? Just so your friend can clear his name to Jennie."

Mark smirked. "Of course. Tomorrow then? After class?"

"I'll tell Jennie. She and Krystal can talk through my brother." I said, "Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll go home now."
