" Conrad."
" you got that right sweetheart." He says pushing my hair off my shoulder, giving him more access to my neck.
" mmmm. You smell so good, I see why Lange can't seem to get his hands off you." He says in a raspy voice, sending shivers down my spine. Shivers of fear that is.
" Get away from me, I'm not in the mood for your useless banter," I say choking back the tears from earlier.
" You hurt me Genesis, why should I get away from you? You want to run to your stupid 'boyfriend'? He's having a great time it seems, so I suggest-"
" he's not my boyfriend!" I yell
" wait, what do you mean he's having a great time," I ask out of curiosity, regret flooding my gut immediately the words leave my mouth.
" so he is your boyfriend," he says matter of factly.
" just leave me alone." I say brushing past him and heading to the kitchen to give miss Mara her phone.
But before I reach the kitchen, something catches my eye. In the window between the foyer and the kitchen, out of curiosity, I follow the dark looking shape which I now realise is someone's hair. I walk to the window and see Gianna and Lange flush against each other, sucking each others faces off.
I let out a small gasp and quietly walk back to the kitchen. My heart sinking below sea level. I've only known them for a few weeks and my naive mind actually thought I was soul mates with Lange. That was really dumb I should have known. I'm actually just the new girl. I'm glad I'm leaving tomorrow, I definitely need a breather after all the events that have happened as soon as I set foot on this Academy.
" Genesis than goodness I found you. You need to get to your room now! Where's Gianna?" The question is left hanging in the air as she grabs my hand and walks me to my room fast.
" what's going on? What's wrong?" I ask in a tired voice.
" There's a succubus on school grounds," she says carefully.
" what is a succubus..." I ask slowly.
" A demon," she says
" it takes the form of a woman or man to seduces unsuspecting people into doing their will,"
" Rose lange needs our help," mikhail comes in the room exasperated.
" don't leave this place okay? I'll tell you when it's safe to move around."
She says and almost runs out of the room.
When they leave. I lock the door behind them and grab my bag pack and a few clothes from the closet. I'll only need a few since I'll be back in a week or so, or maybe never.
When I'm done packing, I grab my laptop and turn the Netflix, I'm about to start watching YOU, a series I like when I hear someone frantically knocking at the door.
" who is it?" I cautiously ask.
" Genesis please open the door, it's me , Gianna."
I slowly unlock the door and immediately I unlock it , it flies open. Entering a dishevelled looking Gianna. Can't be surprised after the hot make out session she had with Lange.
Gianna sits quietly on her bed. Her face facing the floor, legs crossed on the bed.
" I kissed Lange." She says with a slight laugh at the end.
" I don't know what happened, I just found myself kissing him."
" well it doesn't change the fact that you kissed him," I retort, getting on my bed and throwing the covers on me.
" I'm so sorry Genesis, but I have to do this," she says.
"What do you mean have to do this? Do what.."
And the world goes blank.
