chapter one: adoption!

izumi is a neko and was abandoned at an orphanage at the age of 2, her parents didnt want her. they took her in and she got a best friend straight away, he was called hitoshi shinso. izumi wouldnt talk at all, she knew how to speak, she just didnt want to. since Izumi and hitoshi being so close and there was eventually no room in the orphanage, they started getting kids to share rooms, so Izumi and hitoshi started sharing a room. one of the workers taught her sign language and hitoshi learned it too so they could communicate. izumi was smart for her age, she knew things most people didnt. she could easily read people like they were an open book but no one could ever read her but hitoshi, no one could read her because she didn't show emotions, she only ever shown them when she knew she was alone with hitoshi. they were like two peas in a pod, they were a package deal, but whenever someone wanted to adopt izumi, they found out she was a package deal and they didnt want to adopt two kids so they never adopted her. even when hitoshi got his quirk, no one adopted them. but this day is different...

3 year old izumi's pov:

I woke up to miss Akari gently shaking me to wake me up. "morning izumi, do you want to wake Hitoshi up for me?" she asks with a smirk. I nod my head quickly and my tail waves . I jump off my bed and jump on to toshi's bed, I turn into a Bengal kitten and meow into his ear. he wakes up instantly and starts petting me, "morning mimi" he says tiredly, "alright izu, change back and both of you be dressed by 9 for breakfast, you have 2 hours" miss Akari said smiling. we both nod and she leaves the room, toshi went for a shower and I got dressed since I had a shower last night. once toshi was done and dressed, we went to the dinner table for breakfast, everyone else was there.

after breakfast, we done our chores. toshi and I were out side sitting under the tree, I was doing analysis on heros and quirks, toshi was doing something with Miss Akari. I was writing about endeavor, he's my least favorite hero, he shouldn't be number 2 hero. "who you analyzing this time, izu?" miss Akari asked, I looked up at her and toshi and signed "the flaming garbage, AKA endeavor" they both started laughing, he is though. we didn't notice two men coming over and they could hear everything. "so who are your favorite heroes, you two?" she asks, "present mic and erasurehead!" toshi says happily, miss Akari looks at me asking "im guessing it's the same for you? also who's Erasurehead?", I nod signing "yeah, they are the best heroes, also Erasurehead is an underground hero, his quirk is Erasure, he can erase the enimies quirk to level the playing field when fighting", she nods smiling, then the two men make themselves present, "you're smart, little listener!" present mic said happily, "woah! present mic and erasurehead!" toshi shouted, "how do you two know about me?" erasurehead asks tiredly, miss Akari answered that saying "izumi does hero and quirk analysis, she's also seen the very few videos of you that are on herotube. do you two want to talk to them alone?" they both nodded and miss Akari left.

they both sat down infront of us, "so what are your names?" mic asks, toshi answered for both of us "im hitoshi shinso and she's Izumi midoriya", mic smiled and they introduced themselves, mic went first, "im hizashi yamada! or present mic, you can call me hizashi or 'zashi" he said enthusiastically, "im shota aizawa, or erasurehead. call me shota, what are your quirks?" shota says trying to smile. "my quirk is brainwashing, if someone answers a question I ask, I can take control of them. Izumi is still three, turning four in five days" toshi says petting me, I purr and my ears and tail pop out. I hear shota say "cute" under his breath (he's not being a perv!) "woah! your a neko? That's awesome! are you able to turn into cat?" zashi asks. "yeah, I can turn into any animal that's in the cat family, even this" I sign and turn into a small baby dragon, they all ask "how?", I turn back and sign "dragons are considered to be apart of the cat family because they have cat-like tendencies" they all nod but I can tell they are still confused but accepting it. we tell them about ourselves and they tell us about them. they look at each other and nod, they then look at us, "would you two like for us to adopt you?" zashi asks smiling. we look at each other, then at them and nod. zashi laughs and shota chuckles saying "alright then, come on let's get the papers signed", we all get up and go inside.
