Luka has never felt like she belonged no matter how many foster families open there home to her, she always felt something was missing. Luka despised those families, the kids were always treated horribly and she was one of them. Her body was marked with a few scars that would forever remind her of those dark days when she thought they were her last. Luka's new foster family where caring but they had never had children before. Peter and Nathan Ramirez were a very kind and open-minded couple. They didn't care that Luka wasn't a girly girl, they didn't care that She likes men's clothing or that she was extremely sarcastic and didn't care about Lukas little secret. The Ramirez lived in a small one-story beach house in California with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The house was a bright baby blue that was slowly Dowling over the years with the paint starting to slightly crack from the elements. The porch around the house was extremely clean with only a few surfboards leaning against the home and a small hammock. It was so close to the ocean that you could taste the saltwater in the air. That night was quiet and the only sound that could be heard was crashing waves hitting the shoreline. Luka sat on the back porch watching the moonlight reflecting off the waves. She has been staying with the Ramirez family for a few weeks so far and it started to feel like home. But she knew something was still missing. She finally had a loving and caring home but deep inside of Luka a voice was screaming that she didn't belong here.

Luka was wistfully braiding her hair when she suddenly heard movement from inside the house. At first, she thought it could be Peter or Nathan getting something from the kitchen. Suddenly she hears a loud thump from inside and curiosity fills Luka making her get up from her seat and head into the house. An eerie silence fills the house making Luka's hair stand up on the back of her neck. Deep inside a voice screams at her that something wasn't right it was to quite. A second thump echoes throughout the house coming from the hallway making her heart rush with adrenalin. Her feet softly touched against the cold wooden floor as she made it into the fiercely long hallway and saw that Peter and Nathan's bedroom door was cracked open. An overpowering smell of rust hit Luka's nose. She could practically taste the rust on her tongue making her feel nauseous. Ignoring all the instincts that tell her to run away Luka treads steadily down the hallway toward her foster parent's bedroom door. As she gets closer Luka could see slightly into the room. Her body fills with fear as she sees Peters's bloody hand on the floor. Could she be mistaken? Could this just be a bad dream or is she living a real nightmare? Luka carefully and cautiously pushes the bedroom door open and the image she sees before her strikes her to the bone with fear.

Fresh blood was splattered everywhere as if a wild animal had attacked them but what stood in the middle of the carnage was not an animal but a woman. A woman with bright red eyes that cut through the darkroom like a Predator. Peter and Nathan's necks were slashed open as if their skin was made of paper and their eyes were depleted of life. Their bodies were sprung out on the floor like a doll that had been left behind without a care. At that moment another feeling started to grow within Luka. This feeling started to consume her fear and turn it into a blinding rage. How dare this woman rip away Luka chance at love and acceptance! Luka's body started to shake uncontrollably, one would think she was shaking from fear but they would be wrong. Her body shook from the uncomfortable primal rage that was overtaking Luka's thoughts and tenting her vision red. She could fill her body grow extremely feverish to the point she thought steam would come off her skin. The woman gave Luka a sickling sweet smile as if her clothes weren't covered in the blood of the poor girl's parents. The woman moved slowly toward Luka as if she was a lion stalking its prey. What Luka didn't know was that her thoughts were correct and she was their prey. The woman lunges for Luka moving faster than her eyes could keep up with but before she could touch Luka an agonizing pain shoots through Lukas body. At that moment her body explodes and the sound of clothes being ripped apart fills the room along with the sound of something sharp scraping against a hard object.
