"Oh no, not Blondie," Jake said hoping he was wrong, but the look that Luka was giving the goddess was all too familiar to him. Edward couldn't help but chuckle at the situation. "Luka, this is my sister Rosalie," he said while listening to everyone's thoughts, trying to figure out how this encounter would go. Edward knew that Rosalie hated the wolves, just barely being able to tolerate Jacob.
"So this is our new family pet," Rosalie asked sarcastically as her eyes ran over Luka's gorgeous body. Edward smirks at his sister's thoughts, making Rosalie give him a vicious look like she could rip him to pieces. She walks up to Luka and looks over at Jake, "You sure she's a mutt? Because she doesn't stink like a wet dog," Rosalie asked.
"You don't want to start comparing stinks Blondie," Jake said glaring, at Rosalie.
"Don't call me Blondie," Rosalie growled, her eyes slowly turning black with anger. Before Jake could antagonize Rosalie some more Lukas hand grips his shoulder hard making him look at her.
"You were showing me to your old room, Jake?" Luka asked with a fake sweetness to her voice.
Jake detects the tone in his sister's voice and gulps while nodding, "Yes, I'm certain you're tired, follow me," Jake said softly.
Luka looks back to Rosalie, "It was nice meeting you, Rosalie," she says as she fights the need to touch Rosalie's lovely pale skin.
Luka follows Jake up to the second floor and passes a few doors till Jake stops and opens one door. Luka heads into the bedroom and looks around, the wood floor was cold and dark brown, the room had very tall walls that were a dark gray and they had solid black curtains that went from the top of the window and fell to the cold floor. Behind the dark black curtains was a wall of glass that was so clear you could see the whole forest behind the house. On the other side of the room was this gorgeous giant king-size bed that had a massive black bulky cover with bright white pillows. Each side of the bed had dark wooden nightstands with a little unique lamp on one of them. The bedroom had a medium size closet and bathroom along with a screen tv hooked on the wall across from the foot of the bed. Luka places her bag down on the bed and takes a deep breath trying to clear out all the thoughts running around in her mind. "All let you get some rest. This day has been very stressful for us, both," Jake said calmly then turned around to head out of the room.
"Jake?" Luka said softly, looking at her brother as he turned toward her. "Thank you for standing by me," she said smiling gently at her brother.
Jake gives Luka a big dazzling smile that could light up a room, "You're my sister, I will always have your back," Jake said confidently before walking out and closing the bedroom door. To distract herself from everything that has happened today, Luka decided to gather her clothes from her bag and put them away in the closet. Once everything is put away, Luka walks into the bathroom and turns on the shower. As Luka waits for the water to warm up, she removes her clothes, allowing them to fall on the tile floor. Long scars lay all over Lukas back, some overlapping others. When the water was finally warm, Luka moves into the shower right under the water, allowing it to run over her body. Luka's body starts shaking as she covered her mouth with her hand to keep herself from crying out. All the pain and stress overcoming her causing her to curl up on the shower floor as she sobs, finally grieving the loss of her foster parents and the life she knew and always wanted. Was her life always going to have pain and lost in it or will she ever feel like she belongs to a family and possibly feels loved again?
In the morning Luka walks downstairs in dark brown hiking boots with light blue jeans and a white long-sleeve cotton shirt. Luka could hear talking from the kitchen as she walks towards it. "Do you think she is up yet?" Inquired a deep masculine voice, as the smell of bacon and eggs hits Luka's nose, making her stomach growl as she walks in. Esme was setting out plates filled with eggs, bacon, pancakes, and fresh fruit. Standing by the kitchen island was a very tall and burly male with jet-black curly hair and pale skin. His topaz eyes light up when he notices Luka, " Finally, I thought you would never wake up," said the gigantic male cheerfully.
"What Emmett meant to say is good morning, Luka," said a shorter male with a lean physique like a gymnast with slicked-back wavy Brunette hair. "Oh, where are my manners I'm Greyson," Greyson said while leaning against Emmett's huge frame.
Luka sits on a stool by the island, "Hello, it's nice to meet you both, did I oversleep?" Luka asked.
Greyson chuckles, "No, it's still early morning, Emmett just hates having to wait, he has no patients," Greyson informed Luka while Emmett pouted.
"That's untrue, Grey I have loads of patience," Emmett told his husband. Luka fills her plate up with immense amounts of eggs and bacon. Ever since she shifted for the first time, her appetite has grown drastically, causing her to consume twice the amount of an average person. Luka eats quickly while talking with Emmett and Greyson getting to know them a little bit more. Before long Jake sat by her, also eating and listening to the conversation. When two extremely loud howls close by could be heard, making Luka and Jake's head whip into the direction the howling was coming from.
"I thought they couldn't come over here, Jake?" Luka asked not in the mood for a fight with Sam.
"They can't," Jake said confused, Sam might be mad but he wouldn't break the treaty. Another howl comes from the woods getting closer to the house, making both Luka and Jake run out of the house and jump the railing over the porch. The sounds of clothes ripping filling the Cullens ears as Jake and Luka shift in midair and both wolves take off into the woods the moment their paws strike the firm ground.
