Luka tries not to laugh as she watches Emmett fly through the air and then land on the hard mossy ground. He stands up from the ground looking at Jasper, "Again," he demanded.
Greyson stood next to Luka, smiling at his husband, "That's my man," he said proudly. The Cullens and Lukas pack stood in a little clear area in the woods. Jasper said it would be an excellent place to train. Edward pulls up in Emmetts white Jeep Rubicon with Bella and Jake. They all three get out of the Jeep and walk over to the rest of the Cullens.
Bella walks to Luka, "So Edward told me the good news. So what does it feel like now that you're a Cullen?" she asked. Luka smiles and looks at the ring on her right hand. The ring was big like a class ring and a silver color with the Cullen crest on it.
"It's great, actually. I finally feel like I belong and with a family that truly loves me," Luka admitted while smiling. Sam and his pack slowly come out of the woods into the small clearing in their wolf forms. Rosalie moves to Luka's side, wrapping her arms around her mates waist. Luka puts her arm over Rosalie's shoulder.
Edward moves to Carlisle's side, "They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms," he explained.
Carlisle looks at Edward, "They came. That's what matters. Will you translate?" he asked. Edward nods as his father walks between his family and Sam's pack looking at the wolves. "Welcome, Jasper has experience with the newborns. He will teach us how to defeat them," Carlisle explained. Sam looks to Edward as he reads the wolfs mind and translates it to Carlisle.
"They want to know how the newborns differ from us," Edward said.
"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life," Carlisle explained then turns and nods to Jasper as he walks back to Esme's side. Jasper walks forward-looking at the wolves, his arms behind his back.
"Carlisle is right; that's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army. But no human army can stand against them. Now the two most important things to remember are; first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. The second, never go for the obvious kill, they'll be expecting that, and you will lose," he explained in a severe tone. Jasper walks away from the wolves and calls for his brother. "Emmett!" he called out then moves to one side of the small clearing. Emmett moves to the other side. Jasper smirks at Emmett, "Don't hold back," he ordered with a smirk.
Emmett smiles at Jasper rolling his shoulders, "Not in my nature," he said cockily then lunges at Jasper. Emmett moves at full speed and lowers his body to tackle Jasper's midsection. When their bodies collide, It sounds like rocks crashing together. Emmett keeps his grip on Jasper midsection, pushing him backward, causing dirt to fly up in the air. Emmett uses his strength to throw his brother over him. Jasper twists his body in midair and lands on his feet and runs at Emmett. Emmett starts to run at his brother, and when he gets close, he swings with his left fist. But Jasper ducks and turns, so he is behind Emmett and grabs his shoulder, flings him down into the dirt.
"Never lose focus," Jasper said while looking down at Emmet. Next up were Edward and Carlisle who nods to his son, letting him know he was ready. They run toward each other at full speed. Carlisle dropped to the ground hoping to knock his son off his feet, but Edward jumps over him just before they collide. They both turn around and run at each other again. Both grab each other's shoulders and fight for a better grip on the other. The wolves watch as Carlisle flips his son backward. Just seconds later Edward starts to get cocky as he dogged a swing from Carlisle and catches his arm before he could try to hit him again. He then uses his right arm to grab Carlisle by the chest and slam him into the dirty ground. Edward looks to Jasper as he walked over, not paying attention to Carlisle. "One more thing," Jasper said to just as Carlisle comes from behind Edward and grabs him, bringing him to the ground. "Never turn your back on your enemy," he said sarcastically while walking past him. Rosalie walks to Jasper next, swaying her hips, causing Luka to stare at her ass. Greyson notices where his new sister's eyes were, and he couldn't help but laugh. He softly nudges her with his shoulder making Luka blush, realizing she has been caught staring at Rosalie like a stalker. Jasper moves his finger in a come forward motion. Rosalie swings her right arm toward him but he dogged it. She then swings her left arm, and he dogged it again. Jasper grabs Rosalie and flings her causing her to spin sideways in midair. She lands effortlessly in a crouched position looking up at Jasper.
"God, she is so hot," Luka said out loud, making Rosalie look back at her, smirking. Luka looks away, blushing as the blonde walks back up to her and kisses her cheek softly.
"You are not so bad looking yourself, Lu," Rosalie whispered into her mates ear, making a shiver run up Luka's body, distracting her from Jasper and Alice's spar. Jake walks over to Bella and hugs her from behind as she looks at Luka.
"Some of you are going to get hurt. Some of you could get killed because of me. This could be a hundred times worse than this, right?" Bella asked with worry in her voice.
"Yes, it will be a lot worse because the newborns are going to try to kill us. But Bella, you are family. You are worth protecting, but this isn't just about you. Victoria made this army to also kill the Cullens, so even if you separate yourself from us, the army will still come," Luka explained then walks to Bella putting her hands on her shoulder.
Bella look up at her, "You want to be with Edward and Jake, right? Do you want to be a vampire? Then you have to fight for it. This isn't just our battle; it's also yours," she pointed out.
