Luka walked into the Cullens living room early evening and saw Greyson lying on the couch, reading a book wearing grey sweats and a Spider-Man T-shirt. She smiles and walks over to her best friend, "Hey Greyson, what are you reading?" Luka asked as she walked over. She lifts his legs, and sat down, putting them over her lap.
Greyson looks over the top of his book, "Alice has gotten me into Harry Potter," he explained as he closes the book.
"Ya, she made me watch the movie last night while rose was out hunting," Luka said making him chuckle. "Grey, can I ask you something?" she asked Greyson. He moves his legs off Luka and changes position now sitting on the couch with his legs crossed, looking at her.
"Sure, Luka, you can ask me anything," Greyson replied.
"How did you become a vampire?" she asked wondering about his human life.
"Will I was born in Cambridge, England. My family were rich nobles, so my childhood was all about studying, learning etiquette, and sculpting into the family's perfect head of the household. That was my life tell my father found me kissing a young servant boy. My family saw me as a disgrace and wanted to get rid of me before word got out that their son was an abomination. So they threw me in the Toronto Asylum to be cured of my mental disease," he explained while running his fingers through his hair. "That was in 1948. I spent a year in that hell going through inhumane testing and treatments before Alice snuck in to save me," Greyson said surprising her.
"Carlisle didn't turn you?" Luka asked.
"No, Alice hadn't found him yet, and she was having visions of me being with her and Jasper as a vampire. So she faked being a nurse and snuck into the asylum braking me out. Not long after, I had Alice turn me. It was year later when we found Carlisle and joined his coven," Greyson replied with a smile.
"Do you ever regret becoming a vampire?" Luka asked knowing that Edward and Rosalie hated being vampires.
"No, I have never regretted it. If I hadn't become a vampire, I would have never found Emmett. He has made everything I went through worth it," Greyson admitted, then looks to the stairs seeing Emmett standing there looking at him, his eyes filled with love for his husband. Greyson stands and walks to his mate who bends down wrapping his arms around Greyson's waist and kisses him. The sight of their love warms Luka's heart, hoping one day that would be her and Rosalie.
It was late at night when Luka walks out of her bathroom in black Boxer briefs and a white sports bra. She was drying her short wet brunette hair when she ears someone clearing their throat. Luka's head snap in the direction of the sound and her eyes widen as her heart skips a beat . Her mouth goes dry as she finds Rosalie lying on her bed wearing dark blue silk PJ shorts that showed off her long beautiful pale legs and a tight white tank top that clung to her stunning body. Luka opened her mouth, but nothing would come out, making Rosalie giggle at her mates reaction. "Are you going to stare all night or come lay with me?" she asked while moving the covers so Luka can lay under them. Luka puts the towel away then joins Rosalie in the bed.
"I thought you were hunting with the others?" she asked while moving under the covers with Rosalie who laid her head on Luka's chest to listen to her heartbeat. Luka wraps her arms around Rosalie loving the feel of her cold skin on her hot flesh.
"Anything can end up happening tomorrow, so I wanted to spend the night in your arms just in case," Rosalie admitted.
Luka runs her fingers through Rosalie blonde locks, "Nothing bad is going to happen, Rose. I promise we will both make it through this together," she promised confidently. Rosalie looks up from Luka's chest and into her mates beautiful chocolate eyes. She slowly leans in and brushes her soft lips against her lovers. Luka stiffened in surprise that Rosalie was actually kissing her. Rosalie to start pull away when she noticed Luka wasn't kissing her back. Before she could entirely pull away, Luka grabs the back of her neck and pulls her back in, kissing her passionately. Rosalie's fingers ran through her mates soft brown locks as they kissed like it would be their last. Luka's fingers slowly ran up the blondes back and into her shirt, causing Rosalie to gasp and shiver at her touch touch. Luka smiles and looks into Rosalie's eyes, "I love you, Rosalie," she proclaimed as her eyes filled with love.
