"Harry!" I call, waiting to hear the sound of his footsteps.
I'm standing in front of the mirror in the spare bedroom. When I got back from London Harry suggested that both of us keep most of our wardrobes in the spare bedroom, and put everyday stuff in his room. I'm sleeping in his room- our room, I should say really, but the option is there of the other room if I ever need some space to myself.
It already looks like I've lived here for years, despite only being back a few days. My stuff is mingled with his across the bedroom, and it makes me smile just looking at the way we've fallen back into our old routine. It feels remarkably similar to when we first got together, and the familiarity is comforting.
"Yes Angel?" He says, sticking his head round the door.
"Do I look alright?" I ask, well aware that I sound like a teenage girl right now.
I'm meeting his team tonight. He managed to organise a dinner/party type thing with all his band and writers and friends and stuff, and I'm absolutely bricking it.
"You didn't tell me how formal it's going to be."
I was looking through my clothes for what felt like hours, though was probably only about ten minutes, trying to decide what to wear. I normally never get so hung up on clothes, but I really want to make a good first impression.
I've finally decided on a floral orange skirt, and a nice white top. I look great, but is it too much? Is the floral a bit overwhelming? I don't know if these people are all as exciting as Harry when it comes to clothes, if they'll all be dressed in their finest, or if they'll be in jeans and a t-shirt.
"You look lovely." Harry says, coming to stand behind me and wrap his arms around my waist.
He's in a pair of deep red trousers and a loose white shirt. We almost look like we're matching. At least I won't be the only colourful one.
"It's not formal at all. Everyone will just be wearing whatever they normally wear." He continues, pressing a soft kiss to my hair. I lean back against him, revelling in the warmth of his body against mine.
"You promise I'm not overdressed?" I ask again, and he smiles, his dimples popping out.
"No. You're perfect." I have a feeling that I could wear absolutely anything and he would say that, unlike Bekah who would tell me exactly what she thinks.
Anna arrives to pick us up but she'll also be joining us for the evening. She's dressed pretty similarly to when I last saw her, in trousers of a beautiful blue colour.
"Where is this party being held?" I ask as we pull out of the driveway, my hand tangled with Harry's.
"Jeff's house. Manager Jeff, that is. He's got a beautiful house and lets us use it for dinners and parties and stuff fairly often. I don't know why if I'm honest. Not because it gets ruined or anything, I just don't know why he lets us invade..." He trails off in thought.
