Dear Bekah,

I've decided, now that I'm twenty five years old and officially halfway to fifty, that I'm going to take up letter writing, and you get to be the first recipient, you lucky duck.

June has been a complete whirlwind, and it feels like months ago that you were here for my birthday, not a few weeks ago.

As I'm sure you know, Harry's album was announced on the thirteenth, which was super exciting! I mean, it didn't really mean anything for me, since I already knew about it, but watching the world go crazy was such an emotional moment. All his fans are already getting so excited for it and hyping him up, and it makes me so proud.

He showed me a bunch of his photoshoot photos as well that he had done for the album. Some of them are just plain weird, but he obviously had a blast taking them and I'm so glad that he's expressing himself so openly. This album and this era, if you will, really feels like he's learnt how to not care about what other people think, and it's so refreshing to see.

Naked in the Moonlight has blown up, which is fucking terrifying.

Sam and I suspected it might after Harry's portrait and interview went up, but it's succeeded my expectations. People have been buying the digital image on everything, like, all the products that we have. It blows my mind a bit to think that I could see someone out there with my painting of him on a water bottle or a tote bag.

Have you read the interview? It's a really good read, I'd definitely recommend it, but then, I know I'm biased.

We went through it together after it had been transcribed, and he was surprisingly okay about most of it. There were a few little comments that we had made to each other that we both agreed should probably be taken out, but most of it we kept.

Everyone's been so positive about it, as far as I'm aware. So many of his fans have responded amazingly to it. I spent about three days straight just reading all of the replies and comments. So many of them were so overwhelmed but so happy for him that it almost made my heart burst.

I know my boyfriend's relationship with the world is a bit odd, but it feels so incredible to know that he is so loved by so many people. A lot of them have been messaging me and thanking me as well, which has also been overwhelming. I tried to respond to some of them, but it got too much pretty quickly.

I had a teary phone call from Anne after it came out. She said she'd read it and was so overwhelmed and happy, saying he sounded like a different person from the boy she'd known, which made me a bit sad at first, but she just told me how thankful she was for me and how much she loves having me in the family.

So we both were crying by the end of that!

I had a thought at one point to ask if you were interested in having a portrait done? Despite the fact that I disagree with you vehemently and think you're the most stunning woman in the whole entire world, I know we've had conversations before about body image and you not liking parts of your body, and I wondered if a portrait would be cool. It doesn't have to be a part of NITM, but at the same time, if you wanted it to be and you wanted to have an interview and everything I'd be so down for that. I want to chat to Sam and mention that I want to interview all my friends, if they're happy to, obviously.

Harry filmed another music video last week, that I believe will be released in August. It's for the song Watermelon Sugar, the one that he wrote after one of our more 'eventful' trips down to the beach. You know the one I called you about after I'd listened through to the album with him for the first time? It still makes blush thinking about it, and how people are gonna hear it and put two and two together.

Anyway... he filmed that over a few days at Malibu beach, with a bunch of beautiful women and lots of watermelon! He said the shoot was loads of fun, so I'm looking forward to seeing it when it comes out.

Only a month until the album actually drops now, and then the shit really hits the fan.

Harry's in rehearsals pretty much all this month, apart from when he's doing interviews and promo stuff. He seems to have a radio interview most mornings, so there's no hope of a lie in! He and the band are doing a one night only concert the day after the album launch just singing it straight through here in LA.

I know Harry mentioned about you coming for the album launch itself, but I'm hoping you'll stay for the concert as well?

How are you and Adam? Harry and Mitch have been teasing him pretty badly since your date. I think it's really sweet, and the two of you seem good together. Have you spoken to him a lot this month?

I have an interview with Lizzo this week, and I'm freaking out!!!

She kind of agreed to do it at the Met Gala, but Sam and I hadn't heard anything from her team since, so we just assumed she'd changed her mind or didn't really want to do it in the first place, which hurt a little bit, but I understood.

But no! She's reached out and she's coming to the studio this week!

You know how much I love that woman, and I can't wait to speak to her, and paint her! I know it's going to be amazing.

I've been trying to brainstorm some songs that Harry and I could sing together, but I'm not getting very far. I feel like any song I suggest might make me seem like I'm trying to steal the spotlight, and I really do not want to do that at all.

How's the pub? Are you still happy there? I know you mentioned at one point the idea that you might talk to your dad and try and hand it over to someone else, have you thought about it any more?

If things got serious between you and Adam would you consider moving out here? You could work at a bar here, or even branch out and do something completely different. I've always said you've got an eye for fashion, maybe you could worm your way in somewhere as a stylist?
